This is in response to the answers I have got for my earlier question: Women is it ok to wear low hip sari to office ...?
Most replies suggest that my queston has been misunderstood. I work in an mnc in an Indian city which allows sari as office dress. Iam happily married.
Wearing sari low hip is not uncommon at home, work in Indian society. It is prevelant in all sections both poor and rich and is accepted as decent. Most Indians would agree to that.
My efficiency in work has always been satisfactory and I have let my work do all the talking. Neither am I a woman who wants to flaunt at work place to get noticed. Its just that I feel comfortable and confident about myself the way I wear the sari low. Some times, my midriff does get the stares of men (which women get from some men no matter what we wear) which I mostly ignore but honestly like at times (Iam not hypcritical here like most in Indian society).
Is it ok wearing sari low waist ? Women, especailly Indian, give your views.

We've been friends for three years. We have a tradition that we hug for holidays, goodbye before a vacation, and anytime I have to go into the hospital. So today when I saw him I asked for my bye-see-in-two-weeks hug. He gave it to me. Then he went somewhere and when he came back by, he asked for another one. I was at work so he reached over the counter. I said you know I do all my loving from the end of the counter. So he came to the end of the counter, passing by a lady and saying excuse me.(...which is English for get out of my way...isn't is?) He acted like he really wanted that hug so I gave him a little kiss to. He had a gleem in his eyes when he left.

So do two hugs mean anything or is it just friends?
And before you ask...Yes I like him-like him.

When I met my husband to be (we're now divorced), I worked in a gas station - boring! So ... after we'd been living together for a while, I had a talk with my mother and we agreed that I should try for a baby without telling him. I got pregnant but he didn't speak to me for a week when I told him! That was not nice for me. Anyway, few months later we got married. This was 17 years ago and I haven't had a job since. Now got two kids, both teenagers. Am I selfish to want to pursue my hobbies (I paint and sew) rather than work - he has to pay me alimony and I make sure I get as much money out of him as I can. He says he can't afford 1000 euros a month, which is what he has to pay, but I don't see why I should have to get a job when I have the court order in my favour. I also made sure I got half the value of the house when we split up (but I've spent all that now). I have a lot of interests so I have no time to work anyway.

Why is is that men can love a girl and want to spend the rest of their lives with her, but they just hesitate when it comes time to pop the question?

my ex partly (mostly? only he knows) broke up with me recently because he felt like we were getting pretty serious and that we were going nowhere because we are different races! he said he would not be able to marry me because his parents are very traditional/strict and he wants to please his parents by marrying in his race. We're both only 20 years old! i dont intend on getting married anytime soon. but i guess he was thinking of the future, since we were getting serious. I like him so much, we're so compatible, and we've been together for like a year, yet the time we share still is always so fun and never boring! he makes me so happy and the same for him too. i feel like we can have a really good relationship, if this barrier was not there. i hate how i have no control. we are friends now, but it's different and i miss the way we used to be. is there any way around this? has anyone had/is going through a similar situation? advice/suggestions?

At my school, there's lots of fit girls but i don't get out there if you know what i mean because they are real popular girls and they probably wont like me (due to my shyness) compared to the otehr lads that are really flirty. 2 girls used to fancy me, i never gave a reply back and now they never even talk to me. I really wanna click it with girls but how can i show it? thanks

hokkkay. so lemme start off with the basics. im going into 9th grade and i just moved to a new city. my old friends and i had similar personalities. we joked around about EVERYTHING and i felt like i was always laughing. most of the time we were pretty sarcastic to super preppy people...and now i LIVE in a town that seems to revolve around "abercrombie" and "hollister" and girls that say "OMG" in every sentence. so far ive only met one girl my age who is exactly as i described above. it sucks. i just really miss my friends and im getting depressed. adults that my parents meet in this town keep asking me "wont it be hard going into high school without knowing anyone?" i dont know what im trying to ask but i really needed to let this all out. i talked to my mom...she doesnt understand. shes wanted to live in this town for so long that her fantasies outshine my realities. my dad kinda understands....he sez ill make friends but im not too sure...im a little shy around new people. ughh.

Older brother bought a house with his wife (community property) years ago. Younger brother did the remodeling for the house but didn’t get any pay from them. But now they’re going to divorce. Could younger brother sue older brother for the construction fee before he pays to his wife 50%? If yes, how can he file the petition? In CA.

I let him do whatever. He works a side job after work and I know it's true cause I've been there. He never refuses sex and mostly always initiates it. So what are some signs he might be cheating???

I knew things were not great with our relationship but I didnt think it was unrepairable. Obviously my husband was much more unhappy. He just took all his things & left, at first saying he needed time to think but it was soon clear that he was not even considering coming back & working things out. It was still a real shock to me that it was over. He talked to me on the phone a few times for about a week but after the separation agreement was signed he cut off all contact. I know its over & I dont want him back (especially now after he's been such a selfish jerk & told me all kinds of lies) but i did love him completely before he left in such an abrupt manner. The problem is that I am just so ANGRY all the time at him for leaving & not trying to communicate & fix things. He also placed all the blame for OUR relationship problems on ME ALONE which made me feel horrible even though I know its not true. I'm sort of glad its over but I know I need to let go of this anger so I can move on...

I know a weird question but a true question. It seems like most (Not All) girls are down to earth and that's what I like but I just wanted to know why the girls of where I live at are snobs? Most but once again not all. There is a very few portion I still talk to... Actually rarely now. Is it because it's a stuck up community and everyone says the people there are stuck up and rich? Or is the way they were brought up? I just don't get it. Like all the girls I work with I hang out with and there nice but they live in a diffrent twon/city where these girls that live in the same town as I do are just not down to earth. Please someone give me an answer.

if a girl is, or thinks she is, something of a tom-boy (not that feminine), does she tend to prefer "metrosexual" (straight but somewhat effeminate) guys?

i ask because i like a "tom-boy" type but am pretty masculine, not metro at all.

what do you think? i need lots of answers, and 10 points to the best one!
