Any fools out there like me looking at these questions for laughs? Seems like a lot of teen angst. Poor kids.

Hey, I'm not looking to make fun of the younger generation, even though I'm a bit amused by some of the questions here. I seem to recall being a teenager too. But my main concerns centered around "Happy Days" and "Three's Company". LOL

I'm 56, and a retired psychologist. I agree with you that there are a lot of teens with a lot of angst who come here seeking help. While many of the questions may seem the same to us 'over thirty,' to them their problem is the ONLY ONE and they do need help. That is why I come here ... because if I can help just one person a day 'feel better' about themselves or their situation, my day will be that much better, too. Yes, they are 'poor kids' ... and poor kids deserve help as much as the rich ones who can 'pay for help.'

Oh yes, I'm 30. Reading some of these posts makes me recall all the "fond" memories of being a teen. I only wish that YahooAnswers existed back then. It would have been nice to have someone other than my silly teenage friends advising me!

There are people of all ages and types looking at these questions. While some of them are humorous, I don't think that teen angst is funny to them! This is an interesting place for them to post questions, as they get responses from people their own age, people who share their values, people of other ages, and people who have different values. It might broaden their perspectives. That would be an advantage.

Yes your are right, in the beginning when yahoo first presented this Q&A, their were more intellgent Q&A, now you can't get a decent question or answer. Most of the question you can tell it's young girl and boys wanting advice, and some of the thing they say you can't help but laugh.

I am 30 and answering these question. I think the younger ones need the experience of the older ones.

If you are over 30 and looking at questions from teenagers to get laughs - you are the really immature one.
Some teens don't have anyone else to ask these questions.
Have some decency and stop making fun of them.

I'm 30. I should be out doing something else, but I have no life at the moment, so I'm laughing at the kiddies on here too. :)
