The sanctity of marriage is destoyed by many things. Divorce, cheating, etc. You are right on that note. As a Christian I cannot condone gays getting married, nor can I judge them. God will judge everyone and everything. God however, did let us know that the sanctity of marriage was between a man and a women in his creation and his word.

Everyone sins, it just varies from person to person what the sin is..

The sanctity of marriage is destroyed by the person that cheats on their spouse. So what if gays marry.

It is destroyed by divorce. Marriage is not only for people who believe in "god" and what the bible says. I'm atheist and the US allows ME to marry, so why not gays?
The idea that divorce is "okay" nowadays is harmful to society because it influences how other people think. The idea that two men can get married does not affect how people think about their own marriages.

The sanctity of marriage is destroyed long before the divorce.
And yes, I think the gays who want to get married are destroying the sanctity of marriage.
What a dumb idea!
Get real!

Marriages go bad because people make wrong choices. If they realize this, then they still believe in the Sanctity of Marriage. Gays have nothing to do with it.

Here here! As far as Im concerned, most people
find getting out of marriages easy now and nobody
really works at it. There used to be a time that people
would go to their grave before they got divorced.
As far as gays marrying, I say let them do what they
want and let them be as miserable as the rest of the
married population :-)

God created women out of men, but little did he knew that in the process, Gays were born.

And when God proclaim man and woman as husband and wife, little did he knew that in the process, Gays got married by themselves.

And when men and women created divorce by themselves, God get frustrated and told the gays, "marriage is no more worthy because you gays mess it up"
