This coincides with my early question about a No Gift party for our 10th Anniversary.
I know if people ignore the request and wind up bringing a gift or card that I am to send thank yous, but what about the people who follow directions and dont bring anything? Are you supposed to write a thank you to everyone for coming to celebrate with you? Remember this isnt a wedding, its an anniversary party, I know with weddings you are supposed to thank everyone in a hand written note, but are you supposed to with regular parties as well?

South Carolina requires a one year seperation.
apparently that starts over if you spend the night there even if it is in a different room of the house and no sex took place.

they filed for divorce 2.5 years ago however they "1 year" was started over due to her trying to remain friends.

she wants it over... he doesnt
and he refuses to go to court and say it has been over a year as late last year she was forced to stay there (in a seperate bedroom, no sex) due to a very severe storm.

she needs to know what would be the risk involved in saying it has been the year under those circumstances.

she has him realizing it is over and therefore he has filed for the divorce. but he is worried that will come and bite him.
HOWEVER... sure certainly is not going to rat him out.
any experience or knowledge regarding this would be very appriciated by her.
thanks

So today, yesterday, last week and pretty much every day lately in the last month, my wife has been dropping hints that she wants out...there's nothing wrong with our relationship...really there's not...the problem is that she doesn't want to go with me to my next duty station...oh...btw...im in the navy...any way...she wants to stay here where her family is and where she has a job and our 2 girls have school...i don't understand what's wrong...she married me not her family...maybe I'm just not seeing the big flick here...i just figured that after 9 years of service she would understand that i would have to go back to sea some time...i dunno...she even told me today that we should be friends with benefits...that to me means divorce and that she knows of someone she wants to shack up with...is that true? I'm kinda lost here...i treat her like a queen, maybe that was the problem...i dunno...I'm just plain confused...HELP!

TYVM...

For example, if you meet someone far away, do you develop feelings for them based on the way they look or act? What causes feelings to go deeper? Is it when you confess something? Or when someone gives you your space, or when someone thinks you are the hottest thing in the world? What turns you on in that situation? If you decide to meet the person, what helps in the meantime determine if you might develop feelings, is it impossible to tell before meeting?

I am a 20f. Ok, so this friend of mine who is a guy has been texting me a lot lately. Its about silly things like making bets or deals. He text messages me stuff and sends me emails and things. He keeps asking me in a joking way when I am going to paint his nails. And this keeps happening over and over, at least 4 times a week. And he always wants to make a bet that if I win he has to paint his nails and if he wins he gets to do something to me. Don't get me wrong he is still a really nice guy and a great friend. How do I get this to stop what should I do? Girls if you where in my shoes what would you do about this? Should I just paint his nails next time he says anything?

so theres this guy who i've known for about 11 months we really havent been talking but just as friends but some how we
always end up arguing and we are not even together. he does things that seem like hes into me but i only hear from him about 4 times a month. he always wants to hang out but im always busy but the thing i hate is that he tells me the same day. we would always hang around at school and people would think we're together because we always met up after class or before we dont go out on the weekends though. all this time that i've known him we havent had an actual date i dont know why? i want to know stuff about him but he keeps a lot to himself.

I am a Christian but my husband is not a Christian. Unfortunately, my husband has anger issues, and three months ago, because of the anger issues, I gave him an ultimatum to get counseling or move out until he could make better decisions for himself and for our family. He chose to move out, did not tell me where he lives, and two weeks later, removed me from his myspace page and changed his status on myspace to "single". Last month, he told me not to contact him anymore and said he doesn't even want to be friends. I feel that he has divorced me emotionally. Biblically speaking, I feel that I have been abandoned by an unbelieving spouse. In this case, I think I have grounds to divorce him. However, I know that God can change hearts. I would like forgive him (if he ever wanted forgiveness) and reconcile if it would be possible to save our marriage. How long should I wait before I file for divorce given the circumstance? Or do you think it's just a dream that he would reconcile later on?

I am female and I have a male friend who is having a really bad week. In the past I have given him several full body massages when he is stressed or back is sore. I know he loves them and has raved about them!

The IM message I got when I tried to talk to him earlier was curt..."I'm having a bad week and not feeling too sociable. Catch ya later". Unusual to get that message. I just said bye and if he needed to talk, he knows where to find me.

My question is, if you were a guy in a bad mood, how would you feel about a friend at the door with a bottle of massage cream for a "just because" massage? I'm not going with intent to talk, just relax him. Purely platonic too!!!

Gotta understand that this is the way I like things...I like to surprise, I am generous with my friends, I am an awesome listener, definitely a nurturer, very caring.

I want to just show up and not ask. If I ask, I'm sure he will just say

A couple of weeks ago, this guy started chatting to me in the dentist's waiting room and we really hit it off. When my turn came I just said 'bye' to him. Next wk at my dentist, she told me that he had asked her for my number. I told her yeah it's fine to give it to him. So he texted me a few days later and said he'd like to invite me for a drink but he had the flu at the time. I wrote back, sure, that'd be nice. Bumped into him couple of days later by coincidence at the dentist and again there was chemistry, he kept looking at me but. no mention of meeting again but it was difficult to talk as there were others around. So 2 days later (last night) I texted him 'how r u?'. He wrote back straight away & really friendly & I invited him dancing, he said he's not a great dancer so we'd do it another time! What do you all think?

What are somethings I could do to let white guys know I'm open to dating them? I'd like to do something subtle because I don't want to get my feelings hurt if he's not interested. Any suggestions on how to flirt with guys outside my race? Any stories from girls in my situation would really help. Thanks!

p.s. I'm 28 years old and am attractive (people say I look like Kelis when I had an afro)...

I'm an older virgin guy aged 20. I've never had a girlfriend, but if I do have one will she have a problem with me being a virgin?

Girls expect guys to try to have sex with them right? If guys dont do this pretty soon wont a girl get bored and dump him? How do I handle this? How soon after I meet her do I have to make a move towards sex with her to prove that I like her? I've never done this before so I need help. I'm embarrassed.

My ouncle told me that the husband should be 8 years older than the wife because women get older faster than men. This way, the wife won't look older than her husband on the future. Also because women mature faster than men, this way, when they get marry they will be at the same level of maturity. What do you think should be the age different?

I have some friends who are divorced moms. Man, they live it UP on the weekends when their kids are with the dads. They go sailing with boyfriends, or to the local club...man, it is like "Mom's Weekend Out" only without the babysitting fee. On top of it all they get lots of child support.

I am married and I NEVER get a weekend all alone EVER. Because of my husband's job, we live thousands of miles from any family. I am a little jealous of my divorced friends.

Divorce looks good just to have some time alone at this point. But, being the child of divorced parents, I know it was very hard for me to cope with their divorce, even though I pretended everything was fine.

Do divorced parents find more joy in life than their married counterparts?
