It is clear that children need to be supported by BOTH parents, though I'm not quite understanding why fathers get screwed over so bad. How can women get pregnant and then expect the man to pay them child support, spousal maintenance, etc. Don't these women have a financial responsibility as well? I'm especially referring to men who make a significant amount of money. These women are often considered "gold-diggers". This is not the most wonderful label, though it almost seems true. Whatever happened to each parent paying half of everything for the child? Especially when a marriage only lasted for a few years.

I'm not old per say i'm 19. I have noticed that i am not really into anyone anymore. WHen i was in highschool i could just fall instantly in love with someone. I am a guy by the way. The last time i talked to this girl was in the 7th grade (she moved) we used to be best friends (or just really close). I never made a move on her (give me a break i was in the 7th grade). Recently i have found her on myspace (now in the 11th grade) and we have IM'd each other a few times and it turns out she is like the perfect girl for me. She makes me laugh and I love how i can make her laugh too. Plus she is really attractive. My problem is that i am really busy with a job, and school, and tennis that i can't have a gf right at this time. So my question is what can i say (in general) so that we can be close friends, but not in a bf/gf kinda manner? I mean can i really be funny or should i only talk to her once in a while, or should i talk all day, or what?

My husband no longer loves me and wants me and I have been crying for weeks . What shall I do ... he was my one and only love and my heart aches and aches and I am dying slowly from a broken heart.

hopefully this is a close to feeling "bridezilla" as I'll get....lucky you- I choose to vent here :+/

the reception venue has to change ( long story short....was going to be in my backyard- lots of room, etc...but my neighborhood association doesn't allow parties of more than 50) and I just found this out (my own fault- but I had no idea)

I'm a bit overwhelmed...

I want an outdoor reception...I know (and plan) to check my local parks for availability...but decorations??? food??? can I still get the classy feel if my guests are sitting at picnic tables??

I feel like such a brat, but its very upsetting...

I'm usually much better with strife than this!

I get a little irriated when people try to fix my life for me. If I am venting I honestly do not want to hear your solution to all my problems - esp. if I did not ask for it. Is this as annoying to other people as it is to me? Why do we always think that we have to be the genius behind the remedy in other peoples affairs? I just feel that listening is a lost art. ok i have dated my boyfriend for 2 years. i am 22 he is 23.

he is bipolar and sometimes can be mean, last year i cheated on him with a man and told him.

its a year later, and we have been fighting a lot, we broke up for two weeks, in that two weeks, he met somebody and slept with her.

we got back to gether.... i found his bank statement and saw a "motel" charge on it.. he admitted that he had sex with her AGAIN while we were back together.

he had lied that day he slept with her, and called me before he went and told me i wouldnt be able to get in touch with him cuz he phone died. oh i checked his computer, after he got home from sex, he went online and downloaded a bunch of porn, un til i came over his house later that night.

now he keeps telling me he is sorry and he was trying to be cold because he felt like we were fighting and he always thought i cheated on him more, and he said he loves me, needs me, is sorry and ashamed, and sorry he lied.

I have been talking to this guy online for 3 weeks Sunday we just recently started talking on the phone. The last time we talked was on Monday on the phone. Recently, my husband lost his physically demanding job due to severe back pain. Before this, we've talked about getting divorced (for various reasons, not the least of which is emotional abuse). Now, however, he's just sitting around the house, watching our two kids and not looking for a job. He says no one will want to hire him because his back is so bad. I feel like he's just mooching, and I've told him that he needs to move out, but obviously, with no money coming in, that's sort of impossible for him. What do I do? Is there any legal recourse for me? Should I just let him watch the kids? I'm just stuck between a rock and a hard place, and I'd appreciate the advice ya'll have to give. Thanks!

I've been seeing this woman for only a few months. I find her very attractive. She works at a local nightclub as a cocktail waitress. She says she's into Asian men and has date previous dates and boyfriends with them. It seems I match her type of guy. She also tells me that I look so sexy when I smile at her.

Whenever I see her, we talk very briefly, sometimes I buy her a drink, and we give each other a friendly hug whenever I step into the club and say goodbye. I stop by every once in awhile just to meet with her. She always tells me she misses me when I haven't seen her within a week or two.

Recently, she gave me her # so we can talk whenever we're not busy. However, I'm not sure if she gave me her # to talk casually or to make plans to see each other again. I'm kind of confused about this situation.

From what I observed, is she into me? Is this a sign of a crush?
