The movies are always a good place. Start talking about new releases. Once you get him talking about them SUGEST about going. For example, :
boy: The new tarnsformers movie just came it
girl: Oh yeah!! I heard it was good. I want to see it so bad.
boy: me too. Maybe we could go together.
girl: you know what?!, I think that would be fun.
In this snippet of a conversation the girl made a suggestion to the boy. She could had said, "do you want to go see it" or take me there or what ever. Instead she suggested about going. You see boys are afraid of rejection as are girls. At the same time boys like to think they are in control. If the girl where to make the invitation she is violating the unwritten rule of giving the guy control. Ofcourse is perceived control. In reality is the girl that is attempting to control the situation by having the boy take her out. It is really all a game. Anyways, The boy sees a clue. He thinks to himself, "hey here is my chance. She wants to see the movie so if I invite her she will most likely NOT REJECT ME"
May I also suggest some sort of dinner with the movie. Any food really. That way you guys can talk to each other before or after the movie. I think sometimes after is better because if it becomes difficult to talk you can always fall back to talking about how good or bad the movie was. My second suggestion is to not invite anybody else. Just you and him. And go where none of your friends or his friends are. They will just interrupt and you will not have alone time with the boy to really get to know him.

Be honest and let the guy know you like him. I always hated the game people play. You know the one were you cant call him until like three days go by or something like that. Its stupid and childish. Does he like you? He must if your talking on the phone with him. Or is he just a friend ? I believe in
being real, so I say tell him you like him and see were it goes.

why don't you just ask him? There is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out. Heck, not only did I ask my husband out in high school, but I asked him to marry me. If you really like him then don't wait for him to make the first move.

Start up a conversation with him about a particular place that you might want to go with him, and then if he still doesn't get the hint that you want to go there with him, suggest to go there sometime with him. Guys are sometimes slow at these things so you might have to make the first move.

just come out and ask if if he would like to go to the movies you have heard is pretty good. make sure you pick 2 movies in case he has seen the 1st one. Don't be shy just be your self. he will most likely appreciate you more for being yourself.

Keep bringing up places you want to go or things you want to do. Eventually you will find something he is interested in too and that will give him an opening to ask you out.

first you should figure out if he likes you at all then you could talk about how you like being with him. and then you could try hanging out with him more often too...or a more casual way is to find out what you have in common and start a conversation. for example, if you both like to golf or you want to learn and he enjoys golfing, you could propose that you two could go sometime or vise versa.
