I have a boyfriend that I get along with very well. We are very close and spend everyday together. All in all, he's a great guy. But he's been out of town for the past week or so and I ran into an old friend.

He's a fireman that I was very attracted to and we went on a couple of dates in the past. When I ran into him, we talked a bit. He expressed how attracted he is to me and to be honest, this is a sincere and genuine guy. He offered to show me his condo in Venezuela and talked about traveling together with me. Here he is offering me the world but I chose to tell him that I'm in a relationship and want to make it work with my boyfriend. My boyfriend returns tomorrow and I don't want him coming back to deal with all of this. The fireman was pissed. Should I offer him friendship or just let him be? Did I do the right thing? Thanks

I am dating/hanging out with a man going thru a divorce. I am trying to be a friend to him and just hang out. I am in the waiting game. I know I should go out with other men, but I finally found a NICE GUY... and I don't want to let this one get away. I know once the divorce process is over... it will get better, but in the mean time... I miss him! I just want to spend more and more time with him. And I can't... ugh

He keeps telling me how great I have been thru this whole thing and in a long conversation this week, he even was brought to tears with our convo... and said "how did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" It is because I am keeping my feelings back from him and being the best friend I can be in the meantime. Everyone has told me that it take a year from a divorce to get over or thru it. But I think this guy is worth the wait.

Look, I have a crush on this girl who is a friend to me, she has had alot going on in her life, last year she was in a serious car accident and since she has very few friends besides her family compared to what she had, I am one of those few, we exercise, go to lunch, and hang out, when I first met her in my 7th hour class as a transfer at the start of 2nd semester she smiled at me even when she didn't know me, that is what made me start talking to her, and become her friend, she is also a health/exercise freak, so she always seems to be at my work, at a luxury grocery store, one of the workers who I am close to and I told in confidence that I like the exercise girl, well she spread it and I'm sure my good exercise friend will know within 12 hours of 5:00PM CT 7/4/07, what should I do? How do you think she'll react? The clock is ticking, and I'm not sure how to react.....!?

total respect.

That when you talk to her,she listens and responds to you in a respectful way? That when you need from her,she gives to you what like? That when she is upset,she doesn't talk to you like a brat? I'm not saying that she would be a stiffled, no-thoughts-of her own, overtly submissive bore. I'm just saying that she wouldn't try to correct you in public, or talk to you in a demeaning way.

I see men put up with women like this, and totally kiss her feet. Am I wrong for believing men want respect?

I work in a dialysis clinic and i never mention this to anybody but some of my patiens make me nervous and uncomfortable.They just treat you like you are stupid and say mean things to you.Im not really used to being humiliated and disrespected infront of everybody.I just feel so small when this happens and i just want to cry.I cry.I really like helping people but this really bothers me.What should i do?My co workers told me i should get used to it.But i dont think i will.Ive been working there for almost a year and every day i pray i wont get the mean patients.How to toughen up?And not take it personally?

I went out on a date with this cop.The guy was a gentleman, even bought me a CD I told him I'd burn b/c he wanted to do something nice. We held hands or occasionally he'd put his arm around me. While in line, he recognized someone when standing in line, but couldn't pin-point it. One diss...he put down the arm rest between us and he realized that. We held hands during the movie or cuddled, had his hand on my leg. Now here's what I don't get. The movie was packed! I got ahead of him tryin to get out, I clasped his hand, but he was tryin to make his way thru. He waited 4 me outside the restroom. But when I got slowed down, he didn't automatically realize it. He looked to both sides, then back, saw me behind, waited, but then went ahead. He met up outside, walked w/me to his car, but didn't wait for me to get my car started before he left. Here's the catch. He said he wanted to be home by 11 (he drove 1hr 15 min there) b/c he works early. He said nothin was wrong. What u think?

Ok i really like this guy.. he is great.. he has this ex girlfriend he always goes back to though.. i want to have a relationship with him. But idk its weird.. Ok, I have not officially taken a test yet but I strongly feel that I may be pregnant, im only 22 yrs old but extremely afraid to tell my family even though I live states away from them. I am really concerned with how I pleasure a girl in bed, especially during the penetration part of sex. I have never hooked up with a very experienced girl before and now that I'm single I want to know if that is a good size on a man. I need to know what it is like after leaving an abusive(verbally/emotionally, physical some yrs. ago) relationship. Married 13 years; 2 young children and I can't take this abuse anymore. The hollering in my face, the name calling from fat *****, worthless ************, lazy, free loading deadweight, stupid, etc.Or even the silent treatment that lasts for weeks sometimes. I feel like I am dying when he does this. Even in front of my kids. I just need to go but I need a push because I feel so helpless and worthless.
I am dependent on him at this time but I know he'll have to pay child support. I have a solid work history except for my lay off a year ago. I am looking for a job though.
My husband is NEVER satisfied with anything I do for long. If I give in to all of his demands, he'll just get enraged over something trivial. My therapist says I should learn to ignore him and be happy anyway. This is not an easy task. Most people say leave but it is SO SCARY to me. Any advice?
