I went out on a date with this cop.The guy was a gentleman, even bought me a CD I told him I'd burn b/c he wanted to do something nice. We held hands or occasionally he'd put his arm around me. While in line, he recognized someone when standing in line, but couldn't pin-point it. One diss...he put down the arm rest between us and he realized that. We held hands during the movie or cuddled, had his hand on my leg. Now here's what I don't get. The movie was packed! I got ahead of him tryin to get out, I clasped his hand, but he was tryin to make his way thru. He waited 4 me outside the restroom. But when I got slowed down, he didn't automatically realize it. He looked to both sides, then back, saw me behind, waited, but then went ahead. He met up outside, walked w/me to his car, but didn't wait for me to get my car started before he left. Here's the catch. He said he wanted to be home by 11 (he drove 1hr 15 min there) b/c he works early. He said nothin was wrong. What u think?

It think you're overanalyzing. Maybe he just forgot his manners or he was nervous. Give him another date at least.

I think your doing what I do most and that is over analyzing everything. I will think about one sentence someone (usually a crush) over and over and wonder why he said that. I don't think he find any of that stuff a big deal, I doubt its you. He probably likes you and if he didn't feel a connection he wouldn't have gone on the date with you in the first place. So relax and enjoy life. <3

There could be anything, may be his parents or friends from whom he wanted to hideout you or may be his past which he did not wanted to get involved to for that moment, but that does not means he is cheating on you, he most probably will tell you what it was when you both are comfortable....

I think that he was impolite. A man that does not wait for a girl to get into her car before leaving is very inconsiderate, and impolite. He would not get a second date out of me!!

I bet he didn't give it any thought. I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it. He sounds like a good guy. If it bothers you that much, ask him about it.
