Look, I have a crush on this girl who is a friend to me, she has had alot going on in her life, last year she was in a serious car accident and since she has very few friends besides her family compared to what she had, I am one of those few, we exercise, go to lunch, and hang out, when I first met her in my 7th hour class as a transfer at the start of 2nd semester she smiled at me even when she didn't know me, that is what made me start talking to her, and become her friend, she is also a health/exercise freak, so she always seems to be at my work, at a luxury grocery store, one of the workers who I am close to and I told in confidence that I like the exercise girl, well she spread it and I'm sure my good exercise friend will know within 12 hours of 5:00PM CT 7/4/07, what should I do? How do you think she'll react? The clock is ticking, and I'm not sure how to react.....!?

If she is truly your friend, she will come discuss it with you and seek your side of the story, rather than listen to the one passing "her" version of the story. Why don't you have a little more confidence in your "exercise" friend to do the right thing, and not sit there and expect the worst. Who knows, maybe she feels the same way about you. The best course of action you can take, regardless, is not to play any games, and be absolutely honest with her.

If she is interested, you will find out soon. If she smiles at you nicely, then you will know that either she does not know, or still wants to be friends. If she avoids you, she is not interested. If she starts flirting with you, she is interested.
