If someone stares at a painting for more than 3 seconds does that mean they will buy it.... Just because ppl look at things for an extended time frame (in your reference 3 seconds) does not mean anything.... Most ppl can recognise beauty in all aspects of life and in some instances ppl can be the objects of that attention.... If all females I looked at for more than 3 seconds thought I was interested, then my partner would die from jealosy (or castrate me)....

Well, depends on the guy.
There are two times I do that.
1. When I hate/dislike her. (I do this RARELY)
2. When I really like someone and I just stare at their every movement and try not to miss a single time they smile or do those small little gestures that make up who they are.
=) So, for me, it would most likely mean I like her.

its one of three things 1) she's hot 2) she's famous 3) she's sooo ugly you have to stare. just because someone looks at you dosent mean they are attracted. but if you think he's into you go up and talk to him. =)

It may mean he thinks your hot. If he does it a lot then yep he likes you. You could find out by looking at him and just smile back if you are interested. If he is shy he may turn red and look away, or he will smile back. That should let you know, but from what you said, I think he likes you.

It could mean she:
1) is good looking.
2) looks familiar. (didn't she work at ....)
3) has spinach on her lip
4) has a milk moustache
5) looks silly in that ....
