ok so for thanksgiving i want to go to hawaii with my cousin and my parents wont let me go becauz they want me home 4 thanksgiving and they dont want me getting pulled out of school for like only 3 days. how do i convince them to let me go??

So my 19yr. old (almost 20) brother recently moved in with us. We charge him $400.00/ month {$200.00/ paycheck} ~ This amount includes roof over his had, private bedroom (which we built just for him), food, heat/central air, water, hydro, laundry (plus the soap etc..), transportation to where ever he needs to go...including work, telephone with long distance, high speed internet, toiletries etc.. And also a maid basically (except for cleaning his room which is a mess)...but I do the dishes etc...

I'm a stay at home mom with 3 little kids (8, 5 1/2, and 2), so our family's finances are tight and cant afford to give him a "free ride", however today we got in a HUGE fight because he says he never has any money 'cause he gives it all to us and that people have told him we are charging too much especially for family... I think we are being more than generous considering we live in a university town and rooms (just a room!!) are going for like $400.00 to $650.00/month here. Who's wrong?

I am slowly starting to fall in love with this man. We have fun when we are around eachother. But yet he loves to sit there and just watch tv is he into me. When it is time to go to bed he wants to have sex. Am i just there for sex? How can you tell? I am lost and confused.

I've been seeing a girl for 10 months. I realize that's a very small time compared to some, but it's enough for me to realize that I've never loved anyone more. I've been in many relationships, and my picky nature tends to get the best of me and usually ends up with me being too nice to break up and forcing them to do it. Cowardly I know. Well this girl, I miss even the few things that annoy me about her. It started going downhill last month with a few drunken fights ending with us both crying. Well, we'd go a day or 2 not talking, then we'd decide that we're ready to try again, only to end up bickering and right back at the beginning. Last week, I was beginning to feel ignored and it finally boiled over and I told her I was done. I know she loves me, but since then (2 days ago) I haven't heard a word from her despite me texting her a couple of times. It worries me that she won't confront me about it. Is it really that easy for her? Do I give her the space she needs or fight?

while i was with my ex she was going through a lot of stuff "so i thought" her family and friends always turned on her or took advantage of her kindness, her family hated her, her ex stalked her, etc.
during the time i was with her i did everything i could to help her and gave her advice and sanctuary. i spent every minute trying to help her but she never took the advice or did anything to help the situation. usually made it worse.
even though i did everything i could for her she still cheated on me. what happened?

I would like to get married at my local courthouse but dont know how exactly to do it, somone told me I would need to apply for a marridge licence first, i thought you just went to the courthouse and got married, i never knew about this applying for a marrige licence before. We were together for 8 years. No kids I have forgiven him for lying to me about being married, then for cheating on me, so many other things. Then 2 months ago I found out for the last 4 months he's been lying yet again! This time he told me his father had brain surgery. Every week for 4 months he'd go visit him at the hospital and he would even cry about it to me saying he's scared he may die. We'll oneday I called and guess who answered! His dying father whose never been sick yet alone in the hospital. He said he lyed so he could stay overnight away from me - he only did that like 4 times in the 4 months but still. Why lie especially that. So now I told him I need space and don't want to be with him anymore and he will not respect it. He calls and leaves messages and just won't quit. I feel like he is killing my spirit slowly and even when I tell him this he still keeps calling saying he can't get through the day without contacting me. What do I do? I am so stressed out!

My best male friend has been going through some rough times. I met him a few years ago through our career paths. He got divorced not too long ago, and I've tried to be there for him best I knew how. I developed feelings for this guy some time back but I would never pursue that and never intended to show him. He is now hinting at the fact of me and him going out. I already know that he has wonderful qualities and that he is admirable. I do not want to hurt him anymore but I want to be in a relationship when he is no longer physically or emotionally attracted to another woman. I don't want to mask the pain for him. But I do eventually want us to try this out because we have always fit. How can I continue to be there for him as his friend only and tell him that he needs to get his wounds healed before we can pursue a relationship? I want to leave the door open for a possible relationship, just not at this very time. I don't want him acting weird now towards our friendship though.

This girl I went to elementary school with used me out of $150 & lied to me saying she was gonna use that money to get married. Her man must not love her if he couldn't pay for it. & she lied about getting married & now, she's all of a sudden getting all this "free stuff".
