My ex of 7 years has emailed after 3 months of me breaking up with him. He is in Iraq and he hurt me badly and he was not unfaithful. However he keeps emailing me and I have told him a million times friendship is not what I want from him. I want more. Anyway he emailed me from Iraq saying he has grown up and wants to talk things through. I took this as he wants to sort things out. I explained how I felt yet he emailed me back saying how horrible it is out there. That I understand and I truly would love to support him but I dont want to be just friends. I asked him to tell me how he feels but he avoids telling yet he emails me and tells me he thinks about me every day. Am I fooling myself here or is he genuine as he wont stop contacting me but all he says is he wants to sit down and talk things through. Why cant he just tell me how he feels? Does he really want me back? I dedicated a message to him and he loved it. I am supportive what is going on here!!!!

Ok this is both frustrating & embarrasing for me at the same time. Here's the deal. My mom & Dad got a divorce a couple years ago (she wanted the divorce - she was having an affair at work). Anyway, they got a divorce but she still goes back to my Dad when she needs money or is in some sort of financial trouble. My Dad keeps taking her back even tho she treats him like a bank and not like a husband. Well that's not really what bugs me, I mean they're both grownups and I say let them deal with their problems / relationship. Here's what gets me. My mom always stares at my husband. She'll be talking to me, but instead of looking at me while she's doing it, she will be looking at him. Not just looking at him, staring at him. She has done this since my husbad and I were boyfriend and girlfriend and it really irritates the hell out of me. But it's not just my husband, she's always had a staring problem since as long as I can recall, the thing is she ONLY stares at men. Plus ......

My 9 year old daughter has a very unstable relationship with her Dad since she was 1 years old. He comes around when he wants, doesnt pay child support, doesnt help with anything. In the last year, his brother died in a car wreck and about 2 months later he got his deceased brothers wife pregnant. She already had a 8month old from the deceased brother. Neither my daughters father or his girlfriend (my daughters aunt) work... they stay at home and sell pot to pay the bills. So now my daugher has a new half sister (that is also her cousin by marriage) and her Dad runs a major grow operation. I know my daughter really loves her Dad and she is always asking about seeing him. She hasnt seen him in almost a year, since I told him she couldnt go to his house on the weekends (cause of the pot). I've offered to let him come over to our house or meet at the park, but he wont. My daughter cries her self to sleep at night over her dad, I dont want to keep her from her dad... what do I do?

... and the worst thing they do it on dates! That is so misleading and wrong makes me so pis.s.ed that I just leave them there (say I'll go to bathroom and dont come back) or leave them in the middle of nowhere. And please dont tell me I dont have game because I had plenty first date successes!

If you dress like a s.l.u.t. you should act as one, right? It wouldnt make sense... if you went to a cop on a street and he'd be like... "Oh just because I am dressed like a cop it doesnt mean I am a police officer!"

This one girl has been emailing me because she thinks my answer to her question was rude. She said she's ready to call the cops. I told her I was sorry, but I doubt she'll listen. HELP! I'm really scared. PS. I'm only 12.

I met this female at where we work. I only seen her once and briefly talked to her. We are both part timers at this place so we will rarely see each other at work and its only for the summer season. She seems really cool, quiet and a little shy, just my type. I cant say i like her now, its a little too early, but however i really want to get to know her better, since we have some similiar things in common. I texted her about a week and half ago asking if she could work a specific day in the future, knowing that i was going to be working the same day also. I gave her another text just a few days ago saying that she was scheduled for work that specific day and her name was in the book. But I also asked if i could ever call her sometime. I never got a reply. My question is, do you think i was to forward about my last text. I didnt ask to hang out or anything like that. I think i will when i see her again. Do you think she is just shy, or is not interested or to early to tell.

I have a two year old daughter, her father left us when she was one to return to his home country Brazil. He hasn't been in contact since, we have very little money although his family have sent us a bit on the odd occasion, they are not poor. I have written to ask him for money but recieved no reply. He can earn good money and i think it is terrible he hasn't sent anything for her, shall i email him again but this time giving him the ultimatum of never being allowed to see his daughter if he ever chose to in the future? i am so angry with him.

So I understand that the intial attraction is purely physical, but when you find out its just an empty shell are you still attracted to that person. Sometimes I meet girls that are absolutely gorgeous, but they really have no personalities and it seems to dim their physical apperance. What do you think?

Well.. he did KNOW about her... but heres the situation:

When my husband was 16 he had a "one night stand" w/ a girl and she got pregnant. He didnt even KNOW that she was pregnant until one day when her father showed up w/ papers to have my hubby sign to give up his rights to a child he didnt even know exsisted until that day!

Of course, since he was a kid and didnt know what he would DO w/ a child, he signed the papers and thats the LAST he heard about it (although he HAS thought about her from time to time!) The mother didnt want her either and gave her up for adoption.

Now.. he DID tell me about her before we even got married which is a good thing concidering 2 days ago we got a phone call saying that she wants to meet her "REAL" dad! She's now 14 yrs old and living a few states away.

The thing is... we dont even know FOR SURE that she is, in fact, HIS child since there was never a DNA test! And obviously that is going to be the FIRST thing that we take care of!

I'm trying to work up the nerve to enter some contests so honest opinions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I built this for myself
You wouldn't understand
Stacked it stone by stone
Untlil it blocked the sun
Gripping moments from the past
I'v truly felt alive
Want so much more to come
It's stuf that I can't find
Not by looking
Not by digging
But it's so hard to stop
Just let it go and be
I built this for myself
Only wishing you could see
That I built it all for me
And now I can not leave
I fell in love with searching
Forgotten what it's for
I fell asleep still waiting
For something so unknown
Today i'm slowly waking
In a life that's not my own
I built this fo myself
Not knowing when I started
Not thinking about now
I built this for myself
I'm so sorry you found out

Does it matter about the distance of true love ? Or is it still
a taboo. By today's standards. Some say, it is a
small world. Some think that it is a jungle out there.
Of course, all you have to do is live happily ever after,
together. But what about the mistakes that can be made,
when you are apart ? Before the living together in the
reality of it all...... Sometimes it is getting to the next
level, which is the hard part. Best answer wins.
