There are a number of ways, certainly, but life's too short to run around chasing an unfaithful partner. Find yourself someone trustworthy instead and put all that left-over energy into something rewarding for the both of you.

I wouldn't really recommend following your beau around town, I would just rather confront him and ask him and if I felt he was lying I'd dump him...but some people need more proof...so...

The first thing to do, as much as it hurts to know that he is, (or even suspect it) is to not let on that you know. If you let him know that you've caught on, he'll immediately stop whatever relationships on the side he has going on, and you'll never have your proof. So let him go about his usual routine of crap and treat him like you usually would.

What happens next, depends on what he does with his time and where you think the cheating is going on.

If you think it's happening at his work place/gym, you can non-chalantly show up a bit early before his lunch break/or when he gets done working out, and say you've come to take him out somewhere. If the affair is going on in one of those places, she'll probably be flirting with him or hanging around him.

If you think it's happening somewhere else (like just around town) you'll have to play detective and follow him around on a day that he says he's going to go "hang out with his buddies". Just make sure he doesn't see you trailing him. Follow him around and see where he goes. You should know where all his friends live, and when he goes to a certian house of a friend you've never met, you've probably found his mistress's hideout. If he's there to pick her up, you can get out of your car when they walk out and confront them. If they're staying in, you'll have to wait a bit (say 30 min.) before you can waltz up to the door and demand that he come out and explain himself.

Set up your best friend and do a stake-out, catch-cheater-in-the-act thing. I did it for a friend and it works!
