I am the matron of honor in my cousin's wedding. About four months ago, we got in a little tiff, and things have not been the same since...very formal, and almost fake. Her sister-in-law (her brother's husband) is her new best friend. We have been talking about the wedding on and off for the past couple of weeks - bride's maids dresses, cake, etc. Then, today, I got an email, sent out by the bride and her new best friend, telling all the bridesmaids (there are 8) when and where the bachelorette party is going to be, and asking me if I'm going to be there. I'm the matron of honor! I'm supposed to plan the bachelorette party! Should my feelings be hurt that she and her new best friend have gone behind my back and planned this - neither of them mentioned it when we were talking about other things... I am a sensative person, and sometimes, I feel like I overreact, but this hurt my feelings.

My father was recently told by his doctors that his lungs were so black if he didn't wuit smoking he would die very soon! On top of that he's diabetic and doesn't follow any of his guidelines oe even attempts to take care of himself. I've tired to get him to quit and to stop eating sugar and to take care of himself and he says he doesn't care.

So what should I do? He's being totaly selfish and ignorant, i don't think he realizes what I'd go through if he dies, I'd have to take care of the house the bills and my baby sister.

So if he wont make a change for his kids when I ask him what can I do? I'm just...I don't know what to do anymore. :(

Is it so hard for men to tell the one theyre with if & when they look at other women?
It seems to me that men (husbands or boyfriends) have a hard time telling the truth or being descriptive if they see another hot chick. I'm pretty sure that when they are with just their guy friends they have no problem making remarks about other women. Why can’t they just be honest? Lies are much worse than a few moments of a hurt ego.

I know its caused my insecurity. When I'm at work, I am so outgoing with my coworkers and they all love me. But in college classes I dont speak and I kinda just blend into the background. I want more people to notice me because I dont dae much and I've had only one boyfriend and I'm 20. I have a problem looking people in the eye and I tend to be told I'm pretty but come off as intimidating. Whatever that means.

I really like this guy who happens to be one of my best friends. Usually the girls he likes are skinny and pretty and perfect. I am not attractive. (The only people who have ever told me I was pretty were my parents and my best friend) I want to tell him I like him. If your best girl friend liked you, would you give her a chance, even though she is not as pretty as the girls you usually like? I am really insecure and have really low self esteem and he is the only guy who has EVER made me feel loved.

There is one girl I like a whole lot, but I feel she doesn't like me the same way. In fact sometimes it feels like we go backwards, but I don't want to give up..There are other girls that I know from school, work etc... That are always showing strong interest in me... I'm a 20 year old guy and us men have our needs... I'm not sure if I should wait or just give in... What do you think?

I recently got engaged, we have been together for 4 wonderful years. My bf's father is an extremely self centered man that get horribly jealous when attention is taken away from him and basically pouts and makes childish statements when either noone pays attention to him or doesnt do what he wants. We are currently planning our wedding and have decided to do it overseas where I have lots more family. His mother is fine with the idea and so is his sister. He called tonight and stated that he had "bad news" and that neither his sister, him or his mother would be going to the wedding as he "wouldnt survive the flight sitting for 4 hours."(nothing wrong with him aside from being a hipochondriac) My boyfriend called his sister to ask her why she wouldnt be going and she said she hadnt talked to him in a week so that wasnt true, all she had said was she had to save for it, same thing was said by his mom. So he lied about what people said because he simply wants to be childish and manipulativ

One of my good friends for a long time has been in a realtionship for about 2 years. They have been living together for 1 year. I started noticeing the girl acting a lil differently. She would go out to parties without him and staying out all night. Then one night at like 1 am he calls me and is like I have to get the hell out of here. So I find out that she cheated on him and confessed she said she couldnt take the guilt anymore. He told me that she might try and sucker him into staying with her and told me not to let him. Well like 2 days later I see them together again and I pulled him aside and was like wat r u doing? He told me that she was stressed and that was how she let off some steam and she wouldnt do it again. Then when I tried to remind him what he had said the other night he got pissed at me and walked away. From my experience once a cheater always a cheater. Shouldnt he leave her? What kind of a reason is stress!!!???????

to approch the subject of virginity? I've been talking to this guy who I think is a virgin(im not and he knows that), but he kinda dances around the subject when it comes to him. He seems like hes scared of women, but theres no doubt in my mind that he likes me. And do you think that if a guy is older(like lets say the 40 year old virgin) and hes a virgin that something is wrong with him and should I be cautious?

fight whether it's verbally or emotionally do they get turned on?

Like Ida Lupino slapping John Wayne in a scene because he called her frustrated, and then he practically mauls her with desire. Why?

My friend is having these problems, and I can never find myself to say something right. Her little brother is in the hospital, he had open heart surgey this past week, isn't working out to well. Her father is emailing and talking w/ another women he met over the internet. Her mom does nothing, sits at home, uses up money for personal projects that she says fulfill her life. She doesn't clean, do bills, or anything. She doesnt know her husband is talking to this women, they do not sleep in the same room. He has a career, and she sits at home everyday, for this week tho she has been at the hospital with their son. My friends dad has only told her about the women, for some reason he trusts her and not her mother or her sister, he also plans on kicking her mother out of the house after their son is better so he can marry the other women. My friend knows her dad is wrong for cheating on her mom, and that her mom is wrong for being a bad mother, is there anything she can do?

Parents usually have much more life experience than their children, they probably know much better how to judge someone else. There are so many divorces these days because immature and young people get married without really knowing what it means. Parents will be able to judge how well you match because they know you very well and have saw over twice what you saw in your life.

When people are young, they think parents should not force them to do things they don't like and when they get older they realize they were young. Why wouldn't parents be correct on that kind of decisions? They know what is love and if they really think you should marry someone it's probably because they know how love works and they made a wise choice.

She some how found out about it and called one of my relatives and told them that, "I will not show up at that party, If you throw me that party, there will be no bride there" She doesn't want to go to her bridal shower because she wants to go to ehr friends son's birthday party. My family is shocked. she is always rude like this to our family, but we all shut up to not hurt my brother. I think the camels back has broken. Please help me before i say something that I will regret forever. Is she correct to do this to someone?? Just give me your thoughts
