Safe sex. That's my advice. Who says you have to wait for marriage? You're not an "oldie at 45." I have better sex at my age then I did 20 years ago. It's like wine, it gets better with age.

You must be very young to ask a question like that.
I would never marry someone without having sex first. Sexuality is an important part of a relationship and it has to be satisfying for both. I would not date a virgin 45 year old man, at 40 I want to enjoy myself not spend my evenings coaching.

Sex is great but what is it to have someone that just wants just that, oh I here it now, all the men screaming yessssssss me want a lady that just wants that. So they have that so they have a lady to only do that with and then spend other times with guys, oh me I love sports and love out door things but if I had my way I spend time with a lady than a man.
Oh and to your question, shouldn't you wait, I mean if its going to be more than month before the real wedding as in all the cakes and things then get married before that wedding, have a pastor marry you and the lady so you want have nothing to worry about between you and God.
I love how even 90% of the christians knock each other around before getting married and its simple as can be, get married before doing that, even a pastor anywhere can do that for you. And don't believe me on that, just look at how many are still married that are older that didn't knock each other before marriage. yet how many are divoiced that did have sex before marriage, its 90% higher the number that didn't something before marriage.
I don't care if you are a Basic Insticts Before Leaving Earth --Bible-- reader everyday and pray non stop , if you mess with the sex before marriage I can assure you that 90% chance you want die with that person.

The morality for this decade indicates that pre-marital sex is OK between consenting adults as long there are no children involved. That is, no children (under 18-years of age) are conceived out of wedlock; no children observing or speculating on a non-committed sexual relationship; no children in attendance in a home with unmarried couples; and no children bonding in an unmarried couple's home where the probability of breakup is almost 70%. Otherwise, sex should await a formal commitment in marriage.

There's nothing wrong with pre-marital sex as long as the two people are relatively mature, at least out of high school, and have rather strong feelings for each other. Obviously in your scenario, most would think it strange to still be a virgin at that age (and never married for that matter).

Sex has little or nothing to do with love or marriage. It's just sex. It's a physical activity. It feels good. Period. I love my husband, but sex is a good excuse to orgasm. People who say otherwise cannot differentiate between their feelings and logic.
Engaging in safe sex, getting regular testing for sexually transmitted infections/diseases and talking about the possibility of pregnancy and the options (keeping it, adoption and abortion) and saying no to sex with pro-lifers is best. Whether or not someone loves a person or has strong feelings or commitment doesn't matter when it comes to sex. You don't have to even like a person to have awesome sex. You just have to use a condom and be responsible.

I can tell you this. Once you have sex with no love involved then you quicky find it is just that...sex..and nothing else. Once you get married and have intimacy it is love or at least it should be and it should be meaningful to both of you. It is important to know that love is love and sex is sex and nothing more. When two people truly love each other then intimacy is not sex but true love and it makes no difference the age to either of them....trust me...I know from experience.

You know I really doubt that there are alot of 45 yr olds out there nowadays that are virgins, but for the ones that are out there, maybe they have a certain belief that they want to follow.

You should at the VERY least wait for a committed relationship. No one wants a kid from someone you thought you were attracted to after you had a lot too many down at the bar.

I have no regrets, I'm glad I had a few partners before marriage, otherwise I'd always wonder if the grass is greener.
