I've been seeing this guy for a few weeks and we spend lots of time together. How do I tell him I want him to be my boyfriend? Should I wait longer? He has been very stressed for awhile and I dont want to pressure him but I want a commitment.

If he's under a lot of stress chances are he's not going to be willing to let you in that quickly, it's great you spend time together because this WILL help build the foundation for a relationship of the nature you're after, however if you put the pressure of a gf on him when he's under considerable stress, then you might not like the results you were so hoping for :/

I am a little confused here. What do you mean "seeing each other" if you don't mean dating? I would assume you mean in a platonic fashion and you now want to upgrade it to a romantic relationship. If I am right, then all you have to do is just tell him how you currently feel and ask him if he feels the same . If he does, then you have no problem.Remember, you have no right to demand a commitment from someone you do not have a romantic relationship with or have been dating for a while. While I do not know what you mean when you say that he has been "stressed", I would suggest you wait until he is less stressed to let him know how you feel .This way he is bound to give you his undivided attention.Good luck.

Listen, you're seeing him right? It's already the start of a relationship. You don't need to corner him and ask for commitment. That is the worst thing you can do to a guy, especially to a guy who's been stressed out lately. Just go with the flow, things will progress as it has been without a title (boyfriend/girlfriend). Don't feel insecure about this. Enjoy life.

Just be patient. The old saying, good things comes to those that wait might be a good motto for you now. If he is stressed there is no use putting added pressure on him now. Just take a breather and chillout. Let his stresses work their way out and be there as a friend. If it takes a few more week, then just wait. Sometimes the best relationships are based on a solid friendship first. Good luck.

Girl, i think you should just let it happen, if your feelings for this person is stronger then let him know but don't push on it cause you might end up scaring him, especially cause he's been stressing.

Simple answer, talk to him. Let him know that nothing needs to happen now, but ask him where things are going.

Why not just ask him if maybe he thinks you two should move the relationship to the "next" level?
