Can someone tell me what I should do?
This is a serious question, requiring a serious answer.
Perhaps from an older adult, or the wise.
I'm in LOVE with this man.
More than you could ever imagine...

Me and my girlfriend, I'm 36 and she is 37, have been married only once to another and spent most our lives single and not dating much before we met. Things have been going really great until one day she seemed different. Then the next day she would not tell me she loved me and when I asked she told me that her emotions aren't there any more. We have not been fighting and I know she has not been cheating on me. Now, every time she looks at me she feels hatred and she does not know why. I told her that I will move if it will make her happy and she told me she doesn't want me to go and she doesn't want any one else but I can see it in every aspect that she can not stand to look at me and I nor she don't understand why. I have not cheated nor has she.
What is going on with her and has anyone else experienced this problem and if so why????

I have sole physical custody of our children, and he has supervised visitation rights because there is a long history of abuse and neglect from him towards the children.
I have been offered scholarships to continue my education closer to my family, and wish to move back home. This is the state that the divorce decree is from. I need to know how I go about moving, and what will be entailed legally.

My friend is getting married in 3 weeks, I'm her maid of honor. I have never been a moh before, so I'm not completely sure what all is expected from me. It seems that the bride has unreaslistic expectations for myself and the bridesmaids tho.

I have thrown the bridal shower, planned the stagette, spent hundreds of dollars on my dress & shoes, gifts, planning...etc. I have gone wedding dress shopping, and to fittings..etc. I have left work early to learn how to tie the train on her dress.

With Fathers Day coming up, she expects me to throw away my plans with my family to do hair trials.

The day before the wedding she wants us to take off work to set up the hall.

If we can't make it to do something, she acts all sad and upset and tries to guilt us into it.

Does she not realize that we have lives ASIDE from her wedding? We all have jobs, and families and school. She is a stay at home mom who is obsessed with this wedding.

Is she being selfish or am I?? How do I deal??

so i know that liking older men is for little kids, but i have a odd situation. All while ive been growing up i have a close family we do everything with. They have an older cousin (10 years older than me)hes 25 now and he usually comes with us and hangs out. Now he is a perfect guy, hes smart, responsible, and trustworthy. Over the years ive developed a small crush, thinking he was cute.. but then i went to a park with him for a day. Then i really thought he was adorable. Now then a week later, hes at my school substituting. He talks to me in the hall all the time, and only me.. he gives me hugs, and hes so sweet. I am aware that he has a very serious gf, and probably will get married within the next few years and im happy for him. We're so used to each other, were like family. And today i talked to him all lunch and didnt eat because we were talking to much, we have way to much in common. how do i get over him?

I'm not too young to know, its just that no one ever told me. Everyone assumes that I know, so it would be embarrassing to ask my parents (btw, who does that anymore___rhetoricle) And my friends would laugh at me. so please skip the lecture and just tell me.

Ok so I'm almost out of high school and I've never had a bf or been kissed. I just feel like an idiot sometimes because all of my friends have been in a relationship and I haven't. I'm a really pretty girl, too, who's smart, nice, and outgoing. I just don't get what's wrong with me.

so much stuff in my home that I don’t know where to begin

A woman at a dinner I was at the other night went ballistic when she overheard me saying that my parents and side of the family could not believe my sister was having children at her wedding -- and I was trying to figure out how best to help my sister set up a special table and have some babysitters on had to help out. The woman was irate that anyne would dare suggest that children / babies should not be at a wedding.

I explained to her that this would be a formal / white glove dinner reception at a very fancy site and you just can't expect toddlers to sit still for such a dinner and there is nothing else there to occupy their time -- plus dinner is at 8pm and the kids have to be up past midnight... not to mention the servers trying to navigate serving dinner / wine around little toddlers (all kids would be between 6 months and 5 years old... and there will be 13 babies / children...)

What do you all think about this topic?

i should start with an explanation. My boyfriend's mom lives in san diego, me and my boyfriend in cincinnati. His sisters (16&13 yrs old) came back a month last year to visit their dad. I"m extremely close with his sisters, they call everyday, and tell me everything about their lives.

Well, one day his oldest sister and i went dancing at a teen dance club, and we came back late, probably around 3.. and i stayed over their house because i didn't want to wake up my entire family. When i told my boyfriends mother this story she complained and said she had taught her daughters "not to sleep around" and i was a horrible example. Basically she called me a wh**e.

But, my boyfriend was already sleeping when we got home, and we had been together two years. I don't drink or smoke, or do any drugs.. and i'm 19, he's 21. Not what i consider a bad example

Was she right to say what she said to me? He won't talk to her now for what she said to me. Should i apologize or was she wrong?

I want to forgive somebody who has hurt me a great deal. But he hasn't apologized, probably doesn't know he hurt me - and I won't ever see him again after next Friday. To be more specific, we had an affair, have since moved on with both of our families (we are both married), and are working on repairing our tragic situations. Even with that said, I hold a lot of resentment for some of the things he did to me. I ultimately hold myself accountable, but can't deny the hurt and burden I've been carrying. So I really want to get this burden off my back, but don't know how to forgive him. Do you do it to his face? Do you do it silently, with God? Help - any advice would be great !!

So, my partner and I have sort of...separated. We agreed we would keep things out of courts for the children. He demanded I draw up a visitation agreement and that he just doesn’t trust me. No hesitation, I agreed, I feel it’s only safe anyway. We signed it, done. He said he’d draw up a Child Support agreement in the future when he gets on his feet, I agreed. Now that I have asked him to draw one up, he replies, “Attached is the agreement, feel free to make suggestions or improvements. I don't really want to do this, I know I'm going to pay and it seems like a low
move. But perhaps this will give you some assurance which makes it worth it.” Can you believe him?!

It is a tradition in many cultures for two families to be united this way, knowing that both partners come from good families. Do you think that they can grow to love one another?

I am in a role reversal marriage. I am the breadwinner and my husband is home performing the homemaking role. There are a lot of reasons for this, but right now it made sense for him to be home. Siunce my earning power is high, we agreed that after the baby is born, i will take a short maternity leave - then he will stay home full-time. Why does everyone assume I will be the one to do it?

I was just wondering because I learned how to play chess in grade school, but never had anyone to play with. Perhaps, I should play chess with my children, instead.

My friend was telling me her husband tells her not to moan(if thats the right word) when they are making love. They only both 34. they have 1 child. I aksed her if it was loud and he maybe feared the child would hear it but she said no.She says she only moans that only someone very close to their bed would hear it.

He told her it was just for teens or unmarried people to moan and that it's stupid for adults to do that.So she says she just lies there like a log.

So don't married people with children moan. I thought moaning was a way of showing your partner you were enjoying what they were doing to you.

what's your take on her situation, married people? How to you avoid the noise so your children don't have to hear it.Is it immature to moan in bed when married..This was the first time i was hearing this.

I am 23 living in Hawaii which is really expensive so i live with my BF's family. We have a 5 mos baby together, not married. We both have full time jobs but he gets paid twice as much as me. I want to join the air force reserves so my child can have the benefits and they can help me pay for school. The thought of Iraq doesnt bother me as much as the thought that if he chose to, he could pretty much leave me homeless, and take away my daughter because his situation would look more appleasing to the courts than mine. Is it selfish of me to want to establish some independence and security or just stupid to think that he would ever leave me (besides this issue, he is a really really great man)? and is it selfish of HIM to not let me join but at the same time not help me so that i can possible give up work and go to school? ps...my daughter currently gets her benefits from me so quitting means no med/dental benefits for the both of us.
