I have a friend who made the mistake of giving this guy her cell phone number and from day one he will send her 50 or more text messages a day....it stopped for almost six months and now they are starting up again...its so bad her text message mailbox is always full by the end of the day.....she doesnt respond and he leaves messages like "what are you doing"...."Are you busy"....even at wee hours in the morning.......like 2am....I told her why dont she just tell him to stop......she said she did once but it hurt his feelings....now she is asking me what should she do?......What are your thoughts on this....

me and my boyfriend both have never kissed anyone; but i know were going to. the thing is, i dont want to look like a COMPLETE idiot and ruin the special moment. and dont say like "oh dont worry. just do it and it will come naturally" or "dont worry; he probably feels the same way." because that doesnt really help. i need some REAL advice. I have been going out with my girlfriend for almost a year now. I love her very much. I have seen her every single day since we started dating except for the days that I have to travel for work. I have always been sort of an independent and I really enjoy the time I spend with her, but I enjoy my alone time very much as well. Does this make me a bad person?

How can I tell her I would like an entire day to myself a couple times a month at least? Is that too much to ask? As the past year has come and went, I started to realize more and more that I really enjoy being alone when I get a chance, plus, seeing her after a long absence feels really good. What should I do?

My hubby is 25 and is working however his job does not have the opprotunity for advancement, and his job could be gone in a year. He is attending college in the fall full time which means quitting his job to do so. We have a 3 month old baby together and i am very worried that the support that he pays to his ex for his 6 year old son will continue. My question is... Does anyone know if child support stops when going back to school, or does it continue?? I really really need some help with this. Thanks to everyone. :)

Ok, so I’d liked him for 2 years and at the time, [ 2 years ago] I wasn’t noticing how immature or dumb he was, I just loved his very funny personality. We had this thing called ‘the stare game’ where almost everyday in one way or another we’d always be staring at each other. This especially happened more when the two classes of mine he was in, in my 8th grade class were suddenly without his presence as the semester ended and a new one began. As we moved on to high school, the staring was just the same [if not a little more even], but we didn’t have any classes together so we never spoke, though various times I would find a way to make myself ‘noticed’ to him by walking into the class of the same teacher I had a diff. period and asking him (the teacher) a random question, though I’d never be bold enough to talk to my crush himself. So as the year when ton nothing between us really happened, he just looked at me a lot and vice versa. Then this year, EVERYTHING had to change. He came to finally be in one of my classes and at first I was kind of upset that he was, but then I started being happy a little. He never really talked to me unless he had to, or wanted something, but then we started getting used to each other I guess and he started joking around with me a little like he used to. As the months progressed I was once again on a dumb roller coaster ride. There were days he made me happy and I just knew he absolutely liked me, and then days he would just ignore me or flirt with other girls and I’d end up crying for that stupid reason. The staring was still going on by the way, at lunch or when ever he was with his friends he never really stopped. There was one day where my I was sitting in my desk reading a magazine and my teacher told me to put it away and my friend just blurts out [to him] “Why are you always staring at her? Do you like her?” and he answers (in the most un sarcastic voice ever) “Yea, I like her…” then starts rambling on about how I was putting away the book all slow after the teacher had told me to put it away…So that really got me thinking. Then we went on Holiday break for two weeks and came back. Nothing really changed that much. He was still staring and I was starting to think of ways to tell him how I felt. Then, he started being really mean to me. I mean really. I don’t even know why I still liked him after this, but yea. He’d yell at me and sorta push me out the way when I was up getting my book or the papers we were supposed to be getting that day, and he and his little immature 9th grade friend were always laughing and looking at me, so I knew they were talking about me. Stupid as it was, it made me cry, but I still had feelings for him. And the staring was ending either. Then exactly a month ago tomorrow, I did something I’d never dreamed of doing. I told him I liked him. I wrote him a note and told him how I felt. Just three days earlier he’d called me ugly because he thought I’d been talking about him, when it was really my friend who was making the joke [I was just laughing w/her]. So, why I wrote him the note still, I guess you could say I’m just really stupid. If you can’t tell by now he’s way immature to the point where he acts like a 6th grader trapped in a 10th grader’s body, he’s not the brightest bulb in the box and he’s very outgoing and can make friends with almost anyone whereas I’m maybe almost the exact opposite. So for the next 9 days I was DYING anticipating what his reply was going to be because we were on Spring Break and I didn’t see him. Come the Monday we come back……nothing happened. I was so sure he was just going to give me a note back telling me he didn’t feel the same way or something, but he didn’t even do that. He never even tried to talk to me. So I couldn't even bring myself to look at him during the period, but my friend told me he was staring at me. And for the rest of the week nothing happened. He never talked to me, but stared, and continued to laugh and play around in class like he’d never even read the note. Then the next Monday, I decided to talk to him about it. After class I went up to him and asked him if we could talk and he agreed. I asked him about the note and why he never wrote back (I also noticed how nervous he’d suddenly become) to which I got the reply “I don’t write notes,” which is understandable because I guess most guys don’t. So I then asked him what he thought and how he felt. (by now he was half way to his seat in his next class and I was standing there in the doorway) “I just wanna be friends.” Came out of his mouth and I said Ok and left it at that. ‘Friends’…what type of friends he thought we were I don’t understand that. How you can call someone who you’re so mean to a friend, I don’t know. The next couple of days, I was pretty happy I’d just even had enough guts to talk to him about it, but then I started realizing how much I really wanted to add a d onto the “I like you” I’d written in the note. Because by the time I’d wrote the note I was already starting to get over him slowly and I felt like the note was just “something I needed to do” to finnaly get over him. The day after that little talk he stared. And then a couple of days later his little 9th grade friend was like “no eye contact!” when he’d gotten up to get a paper he needed, making me think my (ex) crush had let his friends make his decision for him instead of he making it himself. So now we’re here and the staring (though diminished just a tad) still happens sometimes, we never talk in class anymore he goes on with his life in class just as happy and immature as ever and without a care. Finally, my question to you is, do you think he did like me? I only care because I felt like he really did at some point. There were so many things that he did that at one point I was so sure….and if so, what do you think could have happened or changed that made him give up as I now have on him?

ok so whats the deal with him...i heard from all his friend co workers that he likes me, and they tease him about it, he knows i think he's cute...but hasnt made a move. he gives some hints like he doesnt say hi,or be playful with me but is goofy around everybody else, once i was talking to him and he was at the computer and he turned around and looked straight into my eyes for the longest time while i was talking to him, i always catch anaylising every move i do (say i look at him or smile or laugh), and asks his female co-workes what that means, etc, once i caught him staring at me when i was walking toward his direction until i got near him and had to go to the other side and lost sight if he was looking...i was told he was dating this girl at work but i never see them together she was even making fun of how he likes me to other co-worker the other day,so i think that a rumor. also he must know i know portuguese cuz he was said hi to me in port. and said he was learning the language

I'm almost 18, and I have two younger brothers and we live with our mom. My mom has three jobs, working part-time at a cafe, and delivering coupon books and newspapers. I also have a part-time job working in fast food. The problem is my mom is in debt, we are renting our house now and she can't afford that. She goes out everynight, to just hang out, play poker, etc. When I'm at work, no one's there with my brothers. I take places all the time and spend more time with them than she does. She borrows money from me all the time. She always complains about not having enough money or time to go grocery shopping,etc., but she has enough time to go to bars and play free poker. She spends money that she doesn't have. Today, she borrowed money from me because she said she needed gas to go to work, but right now, she's on her way to a bar. When I try to talk to her about it, she just gives me the line "I'm the mother, not you!" She's acting more like a partying teenager than a mother. Help?

I am married with two boys that are not the biological children of my husband. They have different fathers. I have gone through all the legal procedures to file for child support for one of the dads. Needless to say I haven't seen a penny and even though they say you go to jail for not paying he is free as a bird and obviously not worried because he still isn't paying. The other father is great and gives whatever I ask for. My husband says I need to put him on court ordered child support but I say why, I went that route and got nothing from it. My husband thinks that I won't do it b/c I have feelings for this one and he know s I detest the other one so he thinks it was easy to do it to him. This is not the case at all and I don't think i've given him any reason to believe i still care for this man. This is a big issue for us and I wanted to know if anyone out there has any advice on what I should do. Who is right here?

He could have any women. He's perfect, sweet, kind, loving understanding and a genius in Columbia law school currently going at 20. He is goreuous 6'9, broad sholders, tan, black hair, blue eyes, in amazing shape. One problem he is a virgin, by choice philosophical/religous reasons.He is Catholic, doesn't act holier than thou and very understanding. I used to date him. his last two girlfriends werent virgins one lied to him other cheated on him after 4 month, they said they were sorry loved him. a week after, i was asking him about relationship then he said he would Never date or marry a non-virgin I WOULD RATHER NEVER GET MARRIED AND DIE A VIRGIN. I rec'd. a call from the mother of the bride wanting to know; if we would contribute to help the bride(her daughter) & groom pay for half of their "Wedding Favors"? I said yes.
I assumed the amt. for us would be nominal ! "These wedding favors/candy" (I believe with their Nm's., wedding dt.,to give to their wedding guest). Obviously cost $350.00 total. Because, I received an e-mail from the bride thanking us (in advance) for the $150.00 & an address where to send the check). -
My ?: Is it proper for any bride to request financial assistance from (non-immediate family member's)? The bride is an

i dont really care abt someone's look... but this guy just caught my eyes, i never talk to him.. attraction..crush wutever it is it is... its serious...

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now and I love him with all my heart and we are even going to get married soon but the thing is I think he is too controlling. He wants to know everything, where I go, What i'm doing, who I am having lunch with, call him before and after lunch. When he calls me at work on my direct line and I don't pick up he keeps calling and calling untill I answer and then ask me where I was or what I was doing, and then blames me if I was with someone else and if I love him ect. He has to go everywhere with me, I meanwhen I go to lunch at work and I want to run an errand and he ask me why didn't you do it after work? Then goes on about me cheating on him because I didn't wait to go with him after work. I mean it startting to get alittle tiring trying to tell him I love him and would not ever cheat on him but I feel like he don't belive me. I tell him everyday that I love him and he means the world to me. I am confused weather to marry him or not??

I am currently dating some one, who I've been with for almost a year. Recently I've been thinking about my ex, who I was wit for 2 years off and on. I wanted to wait till my kids were grown up before I did it as they had a difficult time with the breakdown of my marriage to their father. I didnt think they needed the upheavel that an adoption might have caused, and it would nt have been fair on the child I was to adopt as they would have needed my full attention.
Well my kids are all grown up and independent now and I thought it would be a good time to look into it again. The problem I now have is that my partner of 6 years does not like kids (although I find him good with my nieces and nephews) and doesnt want to adopt. What do I now do ?
It is very important to me . I have always wanted to do this even before I had kids of my own. I have always took in other peoples kids when the familys were having problems and enjoyed being able to help them and seeing them blosssom into the secure young adults that they should be.
Do I make an unltimatum out of it ? Would that be in the best interest of any kids I adopt ? Help !!

So, im sick of having the whole idea of marriage pushed on me and looking like the black sheep because I logically cannot bring myself to do such a thing, I told my girlfriend, and my previous one as well to answer my one simple question, How do I benefit from being married??? I can potentially lose at least half of everything I have ever worked for?? wow where do I sign up for that!?

Please feel free to give examples on how I as a man would benefit, but please remember marriage broken down to simplest terms does not guarantee happiness, in simplest terms it is a contract.
