My sister is getting married in september, (having a very beautiful fall wedding) and I am the maid of honor. I have been looking for a poem to read at her wedding (she doesn't want to stick with the common Bible readings) and havn't found anything that really is that good. I was wondering if anyone knew of a poem that described other people's love, or described a fall wedding. I've found all sorts of poems that describe love, but not from the pov of the 3rd person. Any suggestions?

I'm in a wedding and there will be no dinner provided for the reception. Only the wedding party and some close family will be provided dinner. Issues are starting like after the ceremony the guest will have to leave and come back. And other issues are some family wondering why there weren't invited to this special dinner. I'm just afraid that some people won't come back after they just found out they have to leave to get dinner then come back. I've never heard of a wedding with out food!! PLEASE HELP

This is not the first time I have posted questions about this female. She told me today "If you want to be with me and have anything to do with me, you will have to give up everything". And yes, that even includes my DOG.

Ok, so me and my best guy friend finally admitted that we like eachother. He tells me and his friends that we are "kinda but kinda not together", and he says "there are no strings attached" and says "sure will get jealous, but we still have freedom". I ask him if it will be like this for long or will we soon make it more of a commitment?, and he say yea. His friend even tells him that he is leading me on. And he is the biggest flirt when it comes to other girls. Is he just leading me on, or does he really want us to be a couple? What should i do? Should i just go back to being just friends with him? or get closer to him and finally be a couple?

Face it, on average, the woman expects more from her man than she expects of herself. I suppose that there is a time when the children are very young that this can go the other way, but otherwise it's usually as I've stated. If a man is being unfair or unreasonable in his perspective, she'll point it out in an argumentative way. But, if he even hints that she's being unfair or unreasonable,......he'll be in the doghouse. Her 60 hour week being a stay at home Mom MUST be more stressful than his 45 hour week in corporate America, even though she counts having coffee with her friends as work...because the kids are along. I think this is mostly because boys mothers (but also fathers) teach them this is just the way it is. What do you think?

My friend asked my crush does he like me. He said he does not know. I have a feeling that my friend told my crush that I like him instead. She can be very mean sometimes. Now he is looking at me more often. Do you think he looks at me because he likes me or he feels awkward about the situation?

a while age there was this woman in my martial arts class. she was 37 and i was 17. she was married and had two kids. she was very cute though, she was asian and looked younger.

i found her very attractive and acted shy around her and she might've noticed me checking her out. after a while, i noticed that she would touch me a lot. she was an assistant instructor. like, when she's showing me how to hold the kicking pad, she's grab my hand and position it, when i'm holding the board for someone, she'd always come help me by holding me shoulders from behind, and sometimes we'd be doing the splits for warm ups, she'd actually push down on my thighs. she didn't do the same with everybody.

i really don't think she was actually attracted to me, because i didn't act cool around her and i'm not really good looking.

does it sound like she might've actually been doing that because she knew i had the hots for her and was trying to be nice?

My in laws have invited my husband and I to join them (and a few other extended families) on a camping trip. I went with them last year, and my husband did not come. I want to go again this year, but my husband, again, doesn't want to come. He LOVES camping, and I am trying to convince him to go but he feels he is too busy with his work. What if he doesn't go? Would it be weird if I went without him again? He doesn't care, he won't be offended or anything, but I think it will be a lot more fun with him.

Have an attractive husband and wonderful son....woman next door has a son close to our son's age and recently they have been playing together very often...she (the woman) is friendly, but has been wearing less and less lately...my son just came into our computer room asking to go outside to play with this woman's little boy and when I looked out the window to make sure he was outside in his yard, she (the woman) is wearing a little top and SHORT cotton shorts where I can see her cheeks hanging out...literally.

To top this off, my husband and I usually go outside together to supervise the boys playing and to chat with this woman. I just feel her attire is a bit much and makes me uncomfortable. I'm sure it's good eye candy for my husband, but she's been talking to him more and more...and for some reason, I feel she has an alterior motive....call it nuts....but it's just odd!

I won't budge to go outside right now, I just feel uncomfortable!

They have 2 kids, and they are planning on joint custody. She wants the divorce because she is not in love (blah, blah) but wants everything to be amicable. She even said that she would pay him alimony. She agreed to pay 20% of her income, even if he or she remarry. She feels very guilty and wants things to be fine between them after the divorce.
Is there any way to make this legally binding and what if she stops working?
Second question - they have a house, he is going to move out, she's going to stay and pay all the expenses. The idea is after the divorce, the house would remain 1/2 his. If she remarries and stops working, can he have a legal agreement that says the house becomes his? She's agreed to this in principal, but can the legalities be worked out?
Also - please no negative comments like is she crazy for agreeing to this. My sister-in-law makes over $200,000 a year and wants to move on with her life while my brother is a devoted husband. Marriage counseling has failed.

I have been married for less than a year. I am well educated and live in elegant home in an upscale community. I married a man younger with a lot less education. He appears to have adapted well to my life style. His family is uneducated, poor, and unsophisticated. They arrive at my home with containers to cart off all the left over food. The children of his ex-wife whom he calls step children soak up his resources. My husband does not make much money and contributes little to our expenses. I become upset when his side of the aisle uses up his meager resources then I have to make up the extra because he has even less to contribute to our lifestyle . These people don't have the manners to ever tell me thank you for gifts, flowers or anything that I send. When I mention any of this to my husband he becomes angry with me and defensive of them. It is destroying our relationship. I never met them until the day of our wedding.
