Ok, so me and my best guy friend finally admitted that we like eachother. He tells me and his friends that we are "kinda but kinda not together", and he says "there are no strings attached" and says "sure will get jealous, but we still have freedom". I ask him if it will be like this for long or will we soon make it more of a commitment?, and he say yea. His friend even tells him that he is leading me on. And he is the biggest flirt when it comes to other girls. Is he just leading me on, or does he really want us to be a couple? What should i do? Should i just go back to being just friends with him? or get closer to him and finally be a couple?

no! I made the mistake of dating a guy who sounded exactly like that! it turned out that i was right with my intutition and he was really just a jerk! it seems to me this guy is just using you as someone to fall back on or to keep him entertained while he flirts with other girls and tries to get a girlfriend, guys always tell their friends honest things and you should always trust what his friends say because they prolly kno wut a jerk he is and they're trying to help you out because they might think you're pretty cool! good luck & be careful!

Sorry, but yes, he's leading you on. He wants you only when he wants you and nothing more. You admit he's a flirt and his friends know him better than anyone...he's leading you on! You sound young, you shouldn't be in a committed relationship anyway. Always remember to respect yourself and not be used. It never pays off. Do nothing that you can't accept the full consequences of the outcome...or that your parents wouldn't approve of you doing.

Show him that you can do without him. Make him a bit jealous maybe. I know the type of guy. Also dated one once. Am not saying it won't work with you, but it didn't with me. Try to have a serious conversation with him and tell him your concern. You could even write him a letter. That worked with me for another issue!

Guys are the BEST at leading girls on! Call it the I-want-my cake-and-eat-it-too syndrome. When guys are playing the field, they don't know what they want and that includes you, sweetie, I'm sorry. If I were you, I'd just stick to being friends.

well, you obviously can't force him into a relationship. the best thing to do is say it to him straight. tell him that you're not just gonna hang around if he's not commited to you. if you leave and he comes after you, then it shows that he really cares about you and is ready for a relationship. if not, he's not worth it. every girl deserves a guy who loves her, and only her. no other girls, period.

For your own safety, stay back and if you do that and he wants more then just a friendship, he will approach you about a more committed relationship. Make do some thinking and wondering, do not do it all yourself, it will make you crazy inside.
