My sister is getting married in september, (having a very beautiful fall wedding) and I am the maid of honor. I have been looking for a poem to read at her wedding (she doesn't want to stick with the common Bible readings) and havn't found anything that really is that good. I was wondering if anyone knew of a poem that described other people's love, or described a fall wedding. I've found all sorts of poems that describe love, but not from the pov of the 3rd person. Any suggestions?

Why don't you write one? Or ask in the poetry section if anyone has any ideas :-) After reading all those love poems you could throw in a line like "While the autumn leaves fall, their love rises gracefully" I'm sure you could think of something better. Here's a link to one :-)

Good luck!

Why don't you use the lyrics of the song ' one hand , one heart' from the musical West side story.

Make of our hands, one hand
Make of our hearts, one heart
now it begins, now it starts
one hand, one heart
even death won't part us now.

Make of our lives, one life
day after day, one life..............

These aren't all of the lyrics but its a very beautiful, moving
piece. hope it goes well.
