I have a friend who is forty today and he really is struggling with it. Told him its only a number etc but trying to think of something whitty and positive to tell him. I tried saying that 40 rhymed with naughty.....he said 30 rhymed with dirty, nice come back I thought. Give us some inspiration you guys!!!!

i split from my ex last year after dating throughout the summer.I split with him as i didn't have feelings for him and thought it was best not to lead him on.He's my window cleaner so i can't exactly avoid him.I didn't know how to act when he was back on the scene so i just gave him dirty looks and made fun of him.I now realise this was childish and made me look like an idiot.Shall i apologise? I have his e-mail address..
But i am with someone else right now so i dunno whether getting back in touch with an ex is the right thing to do.
Please help!

So I used to like this girl, and I told her that I did, but whenever we talked, she would always say that we were just friends. I kept trying to pursue her, but she always seemed to be playing hard to get. Maybe I was mistaken, and she actually just wanted to be friends.

Then one day, I just stopped trying with her, and now I have a girlfriend, and now the old girl doesn't want to talk to me at all. Did she like me? Is she jealous now because I have a girlfriend?
If she did, and if she is jealous, then why did she never say anything, and why was she always playing hard to get?

There has to be a point where a person stops playing hard to get right?

I dont think I am, but am I at fault? Is there something I should have done differently?

I meet men all the time and can get almost any man i want, but...
how do i make them see me as a woman they would marry???

Usually they think they are not good enough for me, that im out of their league etc, but i dont feel like that - just because i have the looks, good manners and im educated doesnt mean that. So all my relationships end with me getting hurt but somehow men dont feel that way.

He said he was going to stop smoking for himself and for me. He went 12 days without one cig which was quite impressive, but yesterday he told me he'd had 10 cigarettes whilst at work (no real reason why... he wasn't stressed or anything like that). I forgave him and continued to encourage him.

He says he promises not to have any today... but what shall i do if i find out that he does smoke today? What would you do?

I am an 18 year old guy and personally I dont believe in love at all, I dont think everybody feels love, I sure dont. Also people keep asking me how rejection feels, I dont know quit asking never fell in love, I never will and never want to so quit asking.
I dont want to fall in love and just dont have thoughs feelings at all and never will. I have been on my own since I was little and only love myself. I am telling you that I never had thoughs feelings and never will and am wondering how other people feel about love, cuz I have asked this question before and people give dumb answers like you just have to wait you will feel it one day and never say never thats the dumbest one, no I already know I dont, What I am asking is how other people feel about love.
Also I am not lonely I am fine by myself I have been on my own since I was a little boy never needed anyone in my 18 years and never will.

I'm trying to set a friend up with another friend. I don't normally play matchmaker but with these 2 I feel I really need to try and make it happen.

When I told him about her his response in email was "I'm certianly not opposed to meeting new people but I won't press the issue."

Should I take that as (1) No thanks or (2) That would be cool but I'm not going to bug you about it

What do you think about this??
i like it when guys are mean to me.. it makes me like them more.. for some odd reason and it kinda turns me on.. kinda freaky and also on cheating if i was just dating someone and they cheated on me i wouldnt care... but if we were married i would cuz marriage is a commitment.. but id never cheat on them...

please tell me what you think.... my boyfriend and i have a house together, i work in a real horrible job that makes me quite depressed. But i need to work here 1... to pay my half of bills etc and 2... cos im pregnant and have rights to maternity pay later on. My boyfriend however doesnt work he spends his day doing pointless tasks that could be done at weekends or evenings. ie going to the gym, the post office, walking the dog... yet he has enough money in the bank to pay his half of bills. Am i wrong to think this is unfair? sometimes i come home and he hasnt even put the rubbish out, or made the bed. i am furious that he thinks this is a fair partnership.He really believes that i am moaning for no reason! this is really driving a wedge between us and last night we had the biggest row yet. what should i do/say/think etc. cheers for reading!!

Am seeing a girl for the last two weeks. We have met twice in the last two weeks. Only problem with her is she never calls me nor mails me. She'll speak only when I call or reply when I mail her. You know how a lot of people after a break up dont want to start dateing for a little well Iam the complete opposite way like say theres this girl and we go out for months and months and then break up I think it would be a lot faster to get over her if Im with a nother girl haveing a blast not thinking of her rather than if Im sitting at home thinking about her and feeling sorry for my self is anyone else have that opinion? or.. any other ways they get over some one they love and does my reason sound so wrong?
