I need to write about this question for my English class, please help me out.

they need to feel secure:
- they'd rather be with someone they know who is O.K., than someone they don't know who might be better but might be a jerk or villain
- they are attracted to or expect assurance of financial stability or being "well-off", to assure "survival" of the family
You can see it in so many singles ads from women, plus they just don't get interested or even get turned off if the man is unemployed or low income.
- they like assurance that you'll still be around and comfort her even though she'ls anxious or upset. If you're a man in long-term relationship with a woman, you will be put to this reality test.
- they like assurance you won't do things against her will. Co-operate with her expectations and honour your word as best as you can
Without her "feeling secure", then trying to start or maintain a friendship or relationship or "love-life" would be nearly impossible. Its the basic foundation on which everything else, every other aspect of a love-life can be possibly be built upon.

Characteristics women want/need in a man:
1. Unpredictable
2. Uncontrollable
3. A challenge
4. Exciting/intriguing/adventuresome
5. Not boring
6. Interesting
7. Assertive: not a wimp
8. Alpha Male
9. A man who is in control of his own destiny
10. Not intimidated by women: especially attractive, assertive or professional women
11. Women want a man who makes them feel protected and safe
12. Women want men who can turn on the emotion of attraction within themselves.

woman are all different and saying a few things one woman might like will not be applied to that of another woman. Some want different things some want sex and some want a listening ear.If you have one woman that loves to talk would want a man that can listen and can reply with a excellent respone not idiotic. A quiet woman might want to have love in the way the man recognizes her and notices her and likes flatter. these are a few of the many comparrision and contrast of what woman want in thier love life.
Also I want a copy of your idea it would be interesting to get another view and I belive this is quite a vague question.

I think we all (men and women) want a sense of deep partnership. We want to know that we can trust and depend on our life partner.
A little romance and charm doesn't hurt a bit either! My husband is romantic, charming, and kind. He is totally honest, strong in an emotional sense, but not afraid to trust me with his deepest emotions. He makes me feel beautiful, smart, and confident no matter what is going on, and I hope with all my heart that I do the same for him.

trust, friendship, respect, understanding, honesty, love, attention, a shoulder to cry on, someone who helps with chores (watching your lady work is not helpful)
