So I used to like this girl, and I told her that I did, but whenever we talked, she would always say that we were just friends. I kept trying to pursue her, but she always seemed to be playing hard to get. Maybe I was mistaken, and she actually just wanted to be friends.

Then one day, I just stopped trying with her, and now I have a girlfriend, and now the old girl doesn't want to talk to me at all. Did she like me? Is she jealous now because I have a girlfriend?
If she did, and if she is jealous, then why did she never say anything, and why was she always playing hard to get?

There has to be a point where a person stops playing hard to get right?

I dont think I am, but am I at fault? Is there something I should have done differently?

She just liked the fact that you would always be around. She was not playing hard to get, she was playing 'I like that you like me but I don't like you and I hope you will forever pine after me because it makes me feel good about myself.' Now that you have moved on there is no reason for her to keep talking to you. It is harsh, but some ladies like having that one male friend. It is like a mini ego boost. I'm sorry that she treated you that way. I hope you are happy in your new-found relationship.

She was totally playing hard to get, and is now jealous that she's been 'replaced' in your heart and isn't going to have your full attention. I hate it when women do things like this - it gives us a bad name! I can honestly say I never did this kind of crap...although I I wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination ;)
But it sounds like you handled things quite well. You were honest about your feelings, and when you got fed up, you didn't let it stop you from finding someone who could appreciate you.
You sound perfectly sane and healthy to me.

I don't think u were at fault if u tried all means to get her but she refused to accept u... more so if u've already made known to her that u like her.

and since u r already in a relationship now, why bother about her? it's better to be with someone who appreciates u =)

nah you were just friends. Women are funny creatures. Although she thinks dearly of you - she will be feeling like she is stepping on your girl's toes. She also knows you like her so she doesn't want to jeopardise your relationship by accidently leading you on.

She is very admirable. You have a good friend
