i think she is just scared that you're going to end up like her. and i dont mean to be mean but i think she wants you to have more opportunities in life then she had. like to be able to finish high school and go to college and follow your ambitions without any guy or girl getting in the way. she's just looking out for your best interests but you are never to young to date. everything in life is an experience and makes you the person you are.

Uhm.. Well, teens are not too young for love, but seriouse relationships? Yes indeed. I think the ages from 11-16 should just go out like in school, no seriouse dating. 17+ Dating by like going to movies or to the mall alone is fine. But if you mean relationships as in sex? No. Never. Not even if you're 100! What I'm trying to say is, only have sex after you are married. Having sex when you're not, well thats just begging for a sexually transmitted disease. But then again, that's only my oppinion.

she probably just doesn't want you to make the same mistakes that she did when she was young. She wants you to grow up and live out your life without having to deal with the consequences of having children at an early age like she did. She probably isn't assuming that you would do the same, but she's just trying to protect you. Trust me, she is acting in your best interest.
I don't agree with her, though. By forbidding you to date, she is just making you want to rebel more, right? Try to discuss this with her and come up with a set of rules that you guys can both agree to.

it depends on how mature you are and how seriously you take it. but in general, yes, teens are too young for love. your mom probably had some issues with school and stuff. you are definitely not too young to date, tho.

she's just trying to protect you. im in love right now. and im youngish. im 17. but be careful. your heart can only handle so much, and i dont think its actually possible to actually be in an actual love when your so young. you can have a young love, but thats not real love. really. its fun. but not really real
