Ok so I'm almost out of high school and I've never had a bf or been kissed. I just feel like an idiot sometimes because all of my friends have been in a relationship and I haven't. I'm a really pretty girl, too, who's smart, nice, and outgoing. I just don't get what's wrong with me.

omg! That's like me!!! And we're the same age... I think... 17 almost 19? So that's 18 right? Well I'm 18! Hey is she my twin? Lol, I don't do any of those stuffs either and don't like people who do that stuff and I hate the fact that guys are looking at me, but they won't approach me!! Ugh! I'm wondering why too! Maybe we're both just not likeable. Nort - Hey, that Carrie Underwood line is my line. Lol! But so far only Carrie and this girl that I know that's happening like this too! I have no idea why.

Assuming you don't have a problem that you are unaware of, there is no reason why you won't eventually have a boyfriend. Sometimes bad breath gets into a person, and they are not aware of it. (Sadly, that problem has caused me some hurt in my own life.) There are always cues from others that will let you know if that might be a problem. You wouldn't be able to smell it yourself at all. (And I had to learn THAT the hard way too.)
But let's say that your own assessment is accurate, and you are a pretty lady who is bright, sometimes witty, outgoing and sweet-smelling. If all that is true, the boyfriend and lover has got to show up someday soon. Maybe God is preparing a special man just for you. Keep upbeat and stop worrying. Somehow this has got to work out for you in time.

You need to understand that your high school does not encompass the whole world. Just because all your friends have had relationships does not mean that you're the only one in the world that hasn't. My dad is smart, charming, good-looking, successful, and the best guy I know. He never even kissed a girl until he was 19 and couldn't find a wife until he was 33 years old! He's told me many times how grateful he is that he waited for the right person... boy what a woman he got! My mom is great! Don't worry, you'll find somebody... just do yourself a favor and don't settle for less. You'll thank yourself later... i promise.

There's nothing wrong with you.
Obviously the right circumstances haven't lined up for you. Don't rush things. Certainly don't get a bf just for the sake of having one, being in a relationship with the wrong person is far worse then not having a relationship at all.
Keep in mind most people lie about things like money, sex and relationships. Your friends might be telling you something but that isn't always the truth.
Is there anyone you like? Can you approach them?

my sister is in college and has never had a boyfriend and she is all those things too...I am a junior and i just got a boyrfriend and i felt the same way as you. Its not your fault its just guys are really dumb in highschool and it takes awhile for them to notice the truly great girls, and stop noticing the ones that are "easy"
You dont need a boyrfriend to be happy, you just need friends, my sister is having fun in college and isnt worrying about her boyfriend or anything. Its a carefree life. Also you cant just pick out a boyfriend you have to find the right person or else its not going to work out for long anyway. Just be patient, i was and now i found a really good boyfriend : ) and he doesnt even go to my school
I am sure you will find a guy soon... you seem like a sweet girl if not just date guys and maybe that will lead to more.

Omg!!! I feel the same way as you. For me, I have found it to live with it myself. I'm not saying it as a bad thing, look at it the positive way. Well, my friends have been in a relationship and they stunk at it and it's me that helps them get through it. I feel like I've been caught up in their relationship instead of me making my own one. So, stop fretting, it's just typical to happened to one out of the five that they don't have a bf or been kissed. It's ok, you aren't the only one out there. it's hard to explain... i guess what i'm tryin to say is that just be patient and your time will come. good luck

I never had a boyfriend in school. Now I am glad- no pressures. You have enough pressure in High School, seriously don't worry about it and Prom is over rated, priced and Boring. I did not start dating till I was 20 and I am definetly glad I waited to you know until I was ready and not because everyone else was. A guy around is not really a necessity to be happy. Nothing is wrong with you!!!

I'm just like you, except that I'm a guy. I never had a girlfriend since elementary school, and I'm 17. For my case, I didn't want a girlfriend. So perhaps you subconsciously don't want a boyfriend. Or, maybe the right guy hasn't showed up in your life yet. Either way, love will taste sweeter when your heart falls to the right guy who would show up in front of you.

My sister didn't have a bf until her senior year, she was pretty and smart as well. I also had friends in hs who never dated, so you are not alone. Focus less on relationships as they usually bring trouble and problems until you are mature enough to handle them. Most guys are intimidated by pretty girls, so it may not be that anything is wrong with you, but that somethings is wrong with the guys. You will have plenty of relationships soon enough, so don't stress about it!! Good luck.

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT! oh gosh, my best fried, has never been kissed nor had a boyfriend (we graduated a year ago), there is nothing wrong with u, trust me, i went through that patch in high school and it got purty bad too, love u and in time guiz will be loving u 2 lol, right now live ur life for u and make u happy, guiz will come later, seriously i'm not lying! ^_^
