so i know that liking older men is for little kids, but i have a odd situation. All while ive been growing up i have a close family we do everything with. They have an older cousin (10 years older than me)hes 25 now and he usually comes with us and hangs out. Now he is a perfect guy, hes smart, responsible, and trustworthy. Over the years ive developed a small crush, thinking he was cute.. but then i went to a park with him for a day. Then i really thought he was adorable. Now then a week later, hes at my school substituting. He talks to me in the hall all the time, and only me.. he gives me hugs, and hes so sweet. I am aware that he has a very serious gf, and probably will get married within the next few years and im happy for him. We're so used to each other, were like family. And today i talked to him all lunch and didnt eat because we were talking to much, we have way to much in common. how do i get over him?

It's not just for little kids. Have you been following Hollywood lately? There are age differences, sometimes, of 20-35 years! Wow! But of course here we are talking about between consenting adults. If the girl or guy is under 18 and there is more than a three year difference you're no longer talking about dating, you're talking about committing a crime.

There is something special for both younger men and women in dating someone older. They generally have money, financial stability, experience, creativity, etc. It's no longer just about getting their rocks off or just having sex, it's about life, food, travel, music, etc.

By-the-way, the only way to get over someone, is to walk away and make sure you are available to others. But, we never ever fully "get over" someone we cared about. We always carry them with us, and from time to time, in our thoughts, they will come back to visit.
