My friend was telling me her husband tells her not to moan(if thats the right word) when they are making love. They only both 34. they have 1 child. I aksed her if it was loud and he maybe feared the child would hear it but she said no.She says she only moans that only someone very close to their bed would hear it.

He told her it was just for teens or unmarried people to moan and that it's stupid for adults to do that.So she says she just lies there like a log.

So don't married people with children moan. I thought moaning was a way of showing your partner you were enjoying what they were doing to you.

what's your take on her situation, married people? How to you avoid the noise so your children don't have to hear it.Is it immature to moan in bed when married..This was the first time i was hearing this.

I have been married for almost 1 year, and have been with my husband for over 6 years before hand. We have a 2 1/2 year old. I make more noises (moaning, talking dirty, telling him what I want) than I did before we got married. The noises are one of the things that my husband loves about making love with me! Tell your friend that I am sorry about her situation!

Sounds as if your friends husband has some serious sexual hangups and control issues. If she don't turn this around now it will only get worse and she will be miserably married for then it will be something else hes trying to control. She needs to have a serious talk with him or have a male friend or family member talk to him. Somewhere in life hes been taught all the wrong things about sex, or perhaps heard it from his parents when he was a child which might of not only traumatized him but turned him off to the sounds of lovemaking.

I moan my wife moans and yes it is a way of letting your partner know that what your doing they are enjoying really being quiet what the heck is that if he doesn't want noise why doesn't he just wait until she is sleeping. Tell your friend that her husband is being a complete moron and that if she wants to make noise then make the shingles rock who gives a ****.

This guy needs to grow up if he wants quiet he should have married a mute.

Does this also include dirty talk during lovemaking?.
If so this guy sounds like a guy who needs a good dose of reality!. I would maybe get your hubby if you have one to talk to this friends husband and set him straight before his marriage ends up in the crapper!.

Poor guy. He just might have some hang-up with that. Almost nobody is totally cool with everything that can happen bed. Just ask yourself, what won't you do in bed. Some one else might find your list prohibitions odd or ridiculous.

I don't think moaning is stupid, my wife sure doesn't. We do try to keep things quiet because we have two teenage children but when the kids are away and we're alone then that's another story.

When I'm with my husband, I can't help but moan because it feels so good and we've been married 15 years. He doesn't complain. If I need to be quiet, I can, by clutching the sheets,my hair, anything I can get a hold of!!!

That's a total piece of crock.

Children + marriage does NOT mean that you cannot enjoy sex. If you like moaning, then moan! If you moan loud enough to wake up the kids, then just go a quieter room or just close the doors!!

Geesh. It's not like marriage just cuts out all of the romance and passion.

That poor little diluted man, what's he thinking? Moan your heart out! Add a little 'YEEEE HAAAWWW' if it works for ya. Sex in marriage is suppose to get better, not more dull! It isn't that difficult to make sure the kids can't hear what's going on and I'm amazed that a husband would want to 'tame down' their sex life! He should be ashamed of himself!hehe

At 34 years old, married with a child....he should be grateful she does moan! He's crazy. Tell him I said so. Maybe she should start incorporating a couple of squeals into the sessions!

Err.. her husband is strange. I don't get why she's not allowed to moan, that kinda takes away from the experience. I don't see how in anyway that's immature or stupid. Maybe he gets turned off by her moan?
