I got a big problem my wife loves to collect coconuts she has spent our entire life savings on them sold both cars and put her father in a nursing home and sold his home. my house is filled to the rim with coconuts there every were. we can not even have guests over I am spent please help before I am out in the street sleeping in a box.

Can someone who has been abusive change? do anger management classes work? now when i say abousive i dont mean beating the crap out of me, im talking losing his temper 3 times to be exact. once twisting my wrist out of anger, once throwing me accrossed a room and the 3rd was him choking me for long enough for me to be scared, then proceeding to leave after it happens... can a person REALLY change and not do it anymore? This is all over a 2 year period.

My fiancé and I have been together for almost 2 years.Right after we moved in together I got pregnant and its been rough ever since.Anyway, since I have met him he lies over the dumbest things. I mean things I would probably be aggravated at if he told me, but when I find out after the fact I get really pissed off that he lied or tried to cover up certain things. We have had many discussions on this and he keeps saying he won't lie anymore but he does!Example, he lies over spending $, it's not usually a lot, but he won't give me receipts b/c he doesn't want to tell me he spent it, and I'll find out when I'm going through the bank statements. Or he'll lie about smoking (he's trying to quit)Our relationship is in enough trouble as it is. I don't need him lying over DUMB stuff like this and I don't know what to do! he says he thinks it's better to lie if it will keep a fight from taking place, but what if he starts lying about bigger things?!Am I being stupid to worry about his behavior?

We've been together for a lil over 5yrs. and have done this back and forth games. We now have a lil one and we have straightened out a whole lot!! We are happy with our lil family and communicate a lot more than we once did.

People always ask us when we should get married.

Question is....
Why get married if we are just fine like we are now?

Does a relationship really change after marriage either for
better or for worst?

Why fix it if it "aint" broke?

Planning a wedding makes me feel so poor! I mean, who has $400 to spend on invitations!?! That's insane! And $2,500 for four measly hours of photography! It's like sticker shock at every turn! Is anyone else just SHOCKED by how much all this stuff costs? My budget is about 10 thousand (not including the honeymoon or rehearsal or rings or anything...just ceremony and recepetion) and I feel like I have to cut corners and be cheap to stay on budget (I am making my own invitations and floral arrangements to save $). It's just ridiculous how much weddings cost! I know Im not poor but this industry sure does a good job of making me feel like Im being cheap. Am I the only one?

I care very much for my husband of 23 years but am questioning my feelings for him. We split up 6 years ago for around 2 years but got back together and hoped it would work. I have since found out that while we were apart he had an 18 month relationship with someone else but, he didnt tell me, i found out myself. I thought it would be fine and we could work things out but, 4 years on, i still feel terribly betrayed. He has covered up so much information that i dont feel i can trust him anymore. Also, our sex life is virtually non-existant and when i ask him why, he says its not important to him and not a problem. I have told him i feel its vital to have intimacy in a relationship - its very important to me - but he said i am making a big issue out of it. I just feel that any love i did feel is just draining away. I know i'm not unattractive - i am a barmaid in a very busy club and get lots of attention! - but the one person i want it from dismisses me. Please help save my marriage.

I've been going out with her for 1.5 years during college.
Never had a fight before, were great with both families and relationship seemed to be in perfect shape where mine and her friends would often say that we would never split, and get married one day. But one day, she called and told me that she wants to break up with me. After about a week later she took me back...then boom, kicked me out of her life again...
It's so funny because she was the one who was head over heals for me..We both just graduated college and are both heading to the same city to go to (different) grad school. We'll be approx about 25 minutes apart. Whether she really do needs "space" or she has another guy, I don't know and I don't think I want to know. It has been 1.5 month after the break up and about a month since the last time I've talk/saw her.
So my question for ya'll are...What is going through her mind right now? Will she call back?What should I do? and should I give her space and not call?

I'm 54. been married for 35 years to a man 14 years older than me. I don't think I love him and sadly, don't think I ever really did. He idolizes me. I have a co-worker that I think I've fallen in love with, but he has made it clear that nothing will ever happen. He is 11 years younger than me. He was sending out signals, but I mis-read those signals. I'm devestated. Feeling very old, very ugly, very alone.
I know I need to take it one day at a time, but I am sad that I may have lost a friend. How else can I cope?

okay first off I dont want to sound like i am whining, but right now my life is crazy. i am indian and my parents are strict and im 19, well..i have a bf who i love with all my heart, but he lives in england and im secretly (my fam doesnt know) engaged to him. :) Well..we are in america and we have so many problems in the family...marital probs..we fight every single day about money...i have an elder brother who failed his classes in college, he just doesnt care..my mom depressed..my lil brother is only 7.and my dad is an workaholic..and I could easily runaway frm all this and be with my fiance in england..but no matter how much i want to leave, i want to stay and support my fam and not put them to shame..but i just want to be happy and be with my fiance in england *sigh*.but i decided i am going to college here and after college marry my fiance and then be happy. i just feel like i should sacrifice my happiness now for the sake of fam and wait..what should i do? i want to be happy :(

My Finace has a child from a previous marriage. He wanted to tell the child for MANY years but the ex wife say the child first too young, then going through pre teens, NOW she said that she do not want to put too much stress on an High school student 16 years old. Last month during a family event we all were at the family were all talking about having babies and adoption, His cousin a female Doctor is adopting now. The grandmother made a comment to the family that she wish her granddaughter (the doctor) would Birth her own child as her oldest child then adopt later because Her Grandson (my fiance)and the Ex wife birth a child then adopted later.. Oh the look on my fiance face because the adults only knew about the adoption of his child but His nieces and nephews and younger cousins were all sitting around wondering who was adopted? I must say of course they figured it out instantly because the adopted child is the 2nd child.

i've got a crush on my friend & i like to playfully make fun of him. usually if it was me, a friend & him hanging out, i'd make fun of him & say stupid things about him to my friend in front of him, whenever i do that he never says anything & just stares at me for a LONG time with a kinda straight face but at the same time looks like he MIGHT smile, then it gets awkward for me so i try to ignore him then he turns around. yesterday he was walking with a friend, his friend said "hey wats up" to me and then my crush turns around and starts staring at me with that expression AGAIN so i teased him by saying "do you have a staring problem, what are you looking at?" and he was said "nothing much" and then he started laughing and saying jUST KIDDING... so my question is.. So yesterday, I was driving across town with my g/f and her parents and she was constantly nagging about my driving which was causing me to make even more screw-ups. Finally, I locked up the E-Brake got out of the car, and asked her "Do you want to drive?" She chose not to, and now she's all upset at me for it, and says her parents are wondering if I'm a jerk behind closed doors. Anyone got any advice on how to resolve this? I don't see me apologizing to her over the whole ordeal, because ultimately, what I did was to take a stance against constant nagging and show that I'm not going to tolerate being treated like that.

My 21 yr old bf of 6 months lives in the city neighboring mine in California. I'm 18. He's my first bf. His mother lives in Texas. His half sister was graduating from high school in late May so his mom flew him out to see her. He was supposed to come back on the 3rd of June. His mom got a serious eye infection that she had been getting for years 2 days before he was to leave. A few days ago I was talking to him Online and he told me he was thinking about staying there for good. He said once he got some money he could send me a ticket so I could live there with him too. I never said no. I just asked questions like "where would I stay, how would I get there ... etc" when he blew up on me out of nowhere. Now he won't talk to me. We NEVER once fought when we were together, it was great. I love him with all my heart. This whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. I know he loves me a lot. What should I say to him and when? He never cheated on me, this I know. What should I do? Please help!

i had this reli weird dream last nite:
i was staying in a hotel with my 11 yr old sister and sum1 els who i don't remember from the dream cuz itz easy 2 4get details in dreams. anyway i woz in the hotel room with my sister and this other person who even tho i don't remember who it was i know i definetely knew them reli well and i think it was a relative or a friend of the family.so we were unpacking cz we'd literally only jus got there and there was a knock at the door.no1 answered it but it opened. there was a hotel cleaning lady there, like a matron person, and she put her head round the door and done sumthing with the latch on the door(i don't know y there was a latch on the door there jus was)then she came in2 the room and i thought nothing of it. i looked at something in the hotel room, a glass paper-weight i think it was, or sumthin like dat, and as i looked at it, 4 sum reason i felt this weird sensation like th matron had done sumthing 2 it and it made my head hurt............
