Been there, done that...No worries! Let this blow over! There is nothing worse than doing something to the best of your ability and listening to others criticize that!
I would say this though: I know you feel there is no reason to apologize, but sometimes apologies do more than just say I'll take the blame. Apologies also say, hey I love you and I don't want to fight with you anymore. They say, who cares who did it, let's just get over it. They lastly say, I'm man enough to get past this for the both of us.
Most people hate to apologize when they weren't in the wrong, but remember that when you are in love. you aren't supposed to keep track of right and wrongs so please step up to the plate and fix this! Her parents won't have to question how you are behind closed doors because over time they will see the love in your HEART! :)

If you want be be with her, you have to apologize. Even if you know you are right, the fact is you acted like a jerk in front of her parents. That's just wrong. You should have waited to argue in private. Although she was the instigator, you embarrassed her in front of the two people she probably seeks the most approval from.
You have to suck it up and apologize. If this issue is about taking a stand, then you have to think about if your pride is more important than your relationship with her. If her nagging is too much, then maybe you should break it off. Otherwise, swallow your pride.

Well, I don't think I would have quite reacted the way you did. Especially in front of her parents. BUT, I would have made a little comment about her nagging. "Hey, please quit nagging, your making me more nervous" And then after the ride, pull her to the side and tell her how you feel about her always complaing at you.
Now, if you want things resolved, apologize for the way you handled it, because that was a little ill tempered. And talk to her about how you feel. You might want to apologize to the parents too. Depending on how close you and your girl are.

You fix it by doing this: You apologize to she and her parents for causing a bit of a scene and then turn to your GF and say "But sweetie, you gotta admit that you were really on me about my driving and while I should have handled it differently, it grew very irritating, very quickly".
See, you are apologizing because you should have not made a scene like that. That is your bad. And now you've given her a chance to apologize for her nagging. If she's good at compromise, this will happen. If she's not, she won't. BUT, you're still looking ok.

Sounds like you are a crappy driver
Let her drive from now on or break up with her smart aleck *** if you can't deal with it
I admit it was wrong for her to say that in front of her parents but you should have kept your cool in front of them
I don't really have a solution to this one, I am actually stuck for words on this dilemma you have, sorry

You were perfectly within your rights to stop and ask if she wanted to drive. I detest it when anyone critiqes my driving while we are in route. Thats rude. If they dont like it, they can walk, take a bus or whatever.
As for a resolution...it is what it is...its done.....nothing to resolve. You made your point (I hope) and hopefully she will get it.

You handled that situation a bit rough... Should have just said "please stop insulting my driving, i really try my best" and she would have stopped most likely. If not, she had it coming...
At this point you should apologize, and then tell your g/f that she really embarassed you, and hopefully she'll apologize too if she's a good person.

I THINK YOU HANDLED THE SITUATION FINE. YOU DIDNT SWEAR AND IF SHE HAD SUCH A PROBLEM WITH YOUR DRIVING SHE WOULD HAVE TAKEN OVER. AS FOR HER PARENTS WHAT EVER IF YOU STANDING UP FOR YOUR SELF AND YOUR DRIVING MEANS YOUR A JERK THEY PROBABLY ARE A LITTLE UP TIGHT AND EVENTUALLU WILL GET OVER IT OR NOT . EITHER WAY WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK YOU ARE NOT DATING THEM

If she's really that petty - then you would be better off without her. It's clear that she likes the power trip, but can't take the taste of her own medicine.
