May I have your attention? I have something to say, my teacher gave me detention! I'm in a very bad way!!!! Get Me out of detention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, it's like this... I have this huge crush on Ron Weasley, so I was bored and started writing on my desk and wrote: Ron Weasley is hot and cute! That day there was a pool party at school, and I learned that my teacher gave me detention! For writing that I like Ron Weasley! It is the first time I have gotten detention, and want to get out of it! I'll even sit lunch detentions for the rest of the school year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, I have been there.
First talk to the teacher, tell them that you really don't want detention and you'll clean all the desks in their room after school for a month if she wants.
If that doesn't work go to the detention cordinators, tell them your story and ask if there is any way you can get out of it.
Chances are it will be to late, sorry. But trust me, detention isn't that bad. Just face it and attack it.... don't let it attack you.

but seriously, I like detention it's quiet. Gives me time to focus on homework and think about my life and what not, sure you may not win prep of the year award, but I think thats a good thing.

It's not what you wrote, it's where you wrote it -- ON the DESK! You defaced school property and deserve detention. It can't be all THAT long, just suck it up and take your punishment.
Even Paris Hilton had to go back to jail.

ok confront your teacher nicely, say to him/her that you were a little off track, by writing on the desk.
she will probably make a blank stare, and say something, but just look at him/her in the eyes so they will recognize you are telling them the truth.
than say that you will clean up that writing on the desk, if its permanent marker, make sure you have nail polish remover.
