Communication is always the answer. With that you must have understanding... not just blank listening and talking. Conflict resolution, solving problems together, comfort and really finding ways you connect.. communication can keep you thriving.

Listening to the other, and by that I mean really listening and understanding. sincerely. Next is being able to listen without taking things to heart, and letting ourself get defensive, and turning it into an argument. We all need to vent and we mostly vent to those we love. TO put it in perspective, if the love of our life (your spouse) is also your best friend in life that is the best situation. We tend to have more leniency and are more forgiving towards a best friend then a love interest. So to view a person as both gives us the best of two worlds a best friend and a lover what could be better?
