Married 14 years, 2 kids, been through counseling before. Says he loves me. We don't have sex. Haven't for years...couple of times a year doesn't count as sex for me. I put on 30 lbs. during the 14 years. Sex stopped before the weight gain. He just doesn't seem sexual to me and yet he goes on line and flirts with women??? When I mention divorce, he gets very upset. Says he doesn't want it. Says that it's not just him, that I'm the problem too. I've just never met a guy who holds out when it comes to sex. I used to love sex, but now feel resigned to the fact that it won't happen, so I won't initiate that much anymore. It's hard to get blown off all the time. The big picture is that he's provided for us. I've been able to stay home all these years and take care of the kids and home. If there's anything I need, it's never been a problem to get it, he just doesn't seem to get that it's depressing being married to a man who won't show me attention.

Honestly, how many times should you let it go when somebody you love so much continues to do things that cause you so much pain? My husband and I have been argueing a lot lately and I express to him how he hurts my heart when he says mean things to me like "I don't want to be with you anymore," or "I want a divorce" and then leaves the house mad. Then a little while later he's calling me saying that he is sorry for what he said and he did not mean it he was just angry. Seriously, I should not have to worry about that just because we have a disagreement about something. It's as though he wants me to keep doing what I do as his wife and just shut up about the wrong things he does.
Only serious advice please. My heart is in PAIN.

i think i always been too nice with everybody and people are sometimes using me without giving me back the same attention.its happening with girls,my friends,family sometimes... lm always there for them,never angry at them but i am at a point where l'm tired of being used. but at the same time i like to be there for them and i don't want to be selfish. i feel its hard to find a balance. any advice?

I hate to go to my dad's house because I don't like him. He abused my mother and me before my parents split up. He sended me to a crazy house which was not fun. I had to stay there for a week because I said that I would do something to myself if I went to his house. Every time I go to his house he smothers me, yells at me, tells me what to do, and beats me up. I don't like it there! I have to spend 50/50 with him. I just cry there. I don't know what to do because I hate my dad and I rather be with my mom beacuse I love her and she treats me with respect and she is sooooooo nice to me. I have everything at my mom's but at my dad I have nothing. I only have 1 small bed, 1 dresser, 3 underwear, and a few pairs of shirts and pants. Sometimes I have to wear the some clothes that have been not washed. It makes me look like trash! I just can't take it anymore! My dad also dosen't feed me sometimes I no food for a day! I always have to say I'm hungry and he always says thats not my problem!

My friend asked the boy I have a crush on if he wanted to dance with me. He said to her "I don't like her." When my friend came back, she told me that he didn't like me, but that he was around a bunch of his friends and he was probably a little embarrassed. Why is there such a negative stigma attached to being single? It is 2007; I don't really think it has anything to do with thinking that a person is not attractive or endearing enough to find a mate, yet there is still this stigma attached to those who are not married. Why?

i'm friends w/ this girl, who use to know i had a crush on her. i really love her now, but she has a bf, who isn't very supportive of her so she comes to me with her emotional issues. i asked her for advice about this girl i found out likes me. the girl i like said
"go for it, just make sure u aren't involved with anyone else first. It's amazing how much someone can like another person but not be willing to make the move. It's amazing how many people you might be able to get with who you won't get with because you think you have no chance. But actually you do have a chance. Take those chances :)" she told me to add something extreme to my character.
then i said what if u like a person who is inv. with someone else, she said "so what if they are in a relationship? maybe they aren't happy. u should at least tell her." later i asked her if she was happy in her relationship and she said "i don't know."
