i have had two red flags in two separate relationships:
when he started to ignore me and completely disregard my needs and suggestions;
when I found him in our bed with my best friend!

As a man I find that every woman needs a chance to show positive behavior changes also.
Then I press further to get more answers before making a decision to end the relationship.
Sheesh......When they are unfaithful they have already made the decision the relationship is over.

The first red flag is raised when one party believes there is always an ESC button he or she can press anytime, no question asked. It makes entering a relationship more casually, which also sets the tone for easy departure. If the ESC button was not so easily available, people would spend more time thinking through if the other side was indeed a suitable mate.

I would have to say when you get to the point that you just dont care anymore or you are just too tired to keep trying to work things out, then the relationship is over. I also believe that everyone deserves a second chance, but if the behavior is repeated then nothing was learned and the forgiveness from the first time was not respected or appreciated.

If marriages/relationships are admiration, respect passion and trust, with betrayal, the trust is gone, the passion got shared with someone else, and for sure the admiration and respect are in the toilet too..."I don't share".
If the guy wants out, there's the door. In my case, I left... he was never even offered the chance for counseling to try to save our marriage after the marriage got crowded. There are just toooooo many nice men out there who want an exclusive relationship..so I ran, ending an 18 year marriage. never looked back;, never wanted him back... the thought of the guy touching me again made me want to vomit... didn't think that that could be resolved very soon if at all...Was not willing to be the door mat, nor the Jerk in Reserve... once a cheater always one....

When they become unfaithful that there is time to kick them to the curb because there is no dam excuse for it the only thing that tells you is they forgot to mention they were a slut or a whore.
And there is no dam apology needed let alone excepted as far as I am concerned because if you can **** around on your partner there was nothing ever there in the first place.
Cheers.

Besides the obvious..physical or emotional abuse, addiction(s)..I would have to say that weighing your options and having a plan is best. Red flags..wow that's a tough one because I would have to say if your gut is telling you that you should get out then it's time to go.

any and all red flags share the number 1 spot but if too many are raised then it would be best to find a new companion
