so about two months ago i moved from my old school , and i have kept in contact with my friends fairly well , tonight i found out that one of my old friends started smoking pot, i really want to get her help, but should i first talk to her about it? and then if she refuses get her help then? or just notify the correct people and get her help that way? please no retarded answers , this is a very serious matter which has been churning my stomach all night long. oh , and note that we are both freshmen

i think my friends are turning against me because ever since this guy that supposedly likes me my friends have been getting really mad at me. one of my friends even said man i wish you would go away so that guy wont follow you...(yeah some friend huh?)
first i thought she was jealous then they told me they didn't like him because hes mean to them but hes not mean to me and i really don't know what to do. ......im so lost im losing my friends and i haven't done a thing! and then today my two friends after school i was talking to him then the boy that liked me came to talk to me and when i turned around they were leaving me there all by myself.... then i got so mad i felt so hurt i thought i was about to break then i went up to them and i said why did you guys leave me there! and they said because we don't like him and then they said whenever you around him were leaving.....(how could they do this to me).

ok so this guy i liked sicne 3yrs and we were best friends!
i always liked him and i think he new i liked him cuz my friends told him but he never said anything about it!
he moved into town and gose to a diffent skool. :(
but i still see him once and a while!
and he always talks to me but hes so shy to every one but me.
i was tryin to move cuz i thought he didnt like me so i told my friends i like this other guy and he found out so he was all like "y do u like him hes a player and he wont love u like..." and then he walked away from me.
What dose that mean???
i'm a tomboy and i always hang around guy cuz i can talk to them.
so i not sure if he likes me as a buddy or a "girl"

There is a new guy who works at my job. He's been there now for a month and he became attracted to me. I was not attracted to him at first, but once he started showing interest in me I started to develope some very strong feelings for him. Just as soon as I developed these feelings for him he just completely flips the scrip on me. He revealed to me that he is no longer interested in me anymore. I am very hurt over this.even though we've known each other for only a short amount of time. His reason for not being interested in me anymore is because he says a don't have a great figure. Although I know he is shallow it still hurts that he is no longer interested in me. This always happens to me. Every single time that I become interested in someone they loose interest in me because of shallow reasons. This makes me feel hopeless and it makes me feel like I am not worthy of loving and that I will be alone forever. If you were in my situation, what would you do?

I have been with my husband for over 5 years.We have been having a lot of promblems lately.His family of course is on his side(the promblems reside over his career and whether I have the right to my own)they think that as long as he works and I really don't have to than I should just smile and be leave it to beavers mom.
I enjoy working and having my own money and life aside from the home.I feel so alone.My family is passed away and I was the only child.What do I do?It is really taking a toll on me and I feel that it could drive us apart.

i dont know wat too do......

im a great football athlete, im expected to do after school workouts, and know everything

im a great wretler, my coach says i have alotta potential to be great, then i have after school practice

botth footbal and wres. conflict

then band, im expected to knwo my part, and do it perfect

sectionals every mon.

then my g/f broke up with me, my life fell apart

been dealing with pain since then

then expected to be a great student, made good grades, which i do

and most of all be a good son

i feel as if life is overwhelming, and i can deal with the stress and pain anymore

i need some serious answer, fyi freshmen in high school

We have a family member who lives in a retirement home, she has her own apt., not assisted living. But when we take her clothes home to wash, we have tryed different kinds of laundry soaps, even baking soda in the wash, nothing seems to help to get odor out. She is not a diabetic, just a heavy person in weight, we love her dearly.

im secretly angry at my brother for always telling me im ugly because im not skinny, not sexy,and the more he tells that the more i feel the urge to eat and really i do loose my self worth, and because my brother says that i suddenly start to believe that indeed all men are shallow, and that men would only love women with perfect bodies, like i always here my cousins, that woman would have been beautiful if she were not fat, like most of the men i know wouldnt even look at you twice if you are not skinny enough, im not really that big huge woman, i fit in my clothes, i know i look great, i have admirers and a couple of women told me they want to look like me,
you see i dont want to diet just because my brother says i have too so that men would like me more, i dont want to be a slave with what men wants, i want to be liked and loved for me, i mean i can get thinner and all, i can enroll in a gym, but i would remain the same person hateful of myself.

We just got home from dinner. He had at least a 6 pack before we left and 2 margaritas while we were there. He also ordered a third and a bottle of beer, but he didn't get them down...thank God. Now he is NASTY and I just wish he would drop. Sometimes, when he's really bad, I even think about helping matters along. In the morning, it's as if nothing happened and everything is great. okay my husband is in the army an he deploys in 4 weeks, well in the time we have left i thought we could spend sometime together, but all he wants to do is play his video game, or go to his friends house(without me), we barely talk to each other and we have not had sex in over 2 months. i have tried everything.i know he's afriad of going over there, i am to it's his first deployment and i know it's going to be tough on us. but i would like to spend a little time with him. i understand he's wooried and wants to see his friends before he goes and i understand he wants to go alone and i'm okay with that but does he have to go every night??in the past month we have said no more than 100 words to each other and that's night, hi, loveyou ,are you hungry,and dinners ready. he does not spend anytime with his sons(5 years,and 6 month) and i think they are more important than his friends. i do not nagg him or teel him what to do, but i try to talk to him and he's like "hold on i'm talking ...

the other day honey and I did something I thought he was really

i have been dating this girl for about 6 months now. everything we have is awesome. she was a virgin until she met me...well it took 4 months until we had sex...but just everything we do and say is great. here is the catch, she is in college where i have my career which i will never change b/c i have worked too hard to get to where i am at today. she is gone for 14 wks. (summer jobs/internships) this and next year b/c of her college programs that she is in. she has told me once she is done in 2009, she is leaving the city and going to another one where there is a future for her career. so where do i stand here? do i keep going, or do i move? i know i am not leaving this city b/c of my job....but she moves away in may of 2009! as much as i adore her...once she is gone this summer, i think i should look somewhere else. am i right?

1. Why has the bride's family traditionally expected to pay for practically the entire wedding (except for the liquor, which the groom covers)?

2. Why does the bride's dress cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, while the groom only needs to rent a tux? Couldn't wedding dresses be cheaper? I mean, really, it's only cloth and fabric.

3. Could anyone take the typical wedding, calculate ALL the costs, and determine the total amount of $ that the groom (or his family) pays versus the total amount of $ that the bride (or her family) pays?
