so about two months ago i moved from my old school , and i have kept in contact with my friends fairly well , tonight i found out that one of my old friends started smoking pot, i really want to get her help, but should i first talk to her about it? and then if she refuses get her help then? or just notify the correct people and get her help that way? please no retarded answers , this is a very serious matter which has been churning my stomach all night long. oh , and note that we are both freshmen

contact resposible adults that can get your friend the help that is needed. The best way to be a friend is sometimes the hardest, but your friend needs adult intervention.

i think you should notify the correct people and let them take care of it because if you talk to her personally then she'll probably smoke even more,not saying you're a bad person,but she'll be like I don't want to hear what you have to say so she wouldn't take what you said unto consideration.Good luck!

first why dont you talk to your friend and see why she has started smokeing pot....she might just need a friend right now to be ther for her.........and if its that bad then she sould get help how old is she......you can still get the infomation about her geting help she needs........but not right now all you need is to talk to her about what she is doing and why did she start smoking pot

freshmen doing pot good lord well i'd say discuss it with her and still get her help b/c even if ppl say there gonna change they can always lie to get you off their back i would notify the correct ppl

talk to her but in stead of telling her she is wrong tell her that u care 4 her and u will be with her when she need to talk, and maybe she should find something instead of doing drugs

If she won't listen to you, you need to tell her parents. She needs help. You could save her life.
