She left me 5 months ago to be with a coworker because she started to feel "unhappy" 15 year marriage and two great boys. My oldest son had a basketball game and I went to it. She couldn't go because she had to work. He was there cheering on my son and I sat 8' from him and was very uncomfortable to say the least. When I talked to her the other night about the boys she asked me if I knew that was him sitting next to me. I said "Ofcourse I did he was the most ulgliest son of a ***** in the gym!" was that mean of me????

i am a 40yr old man whose been through the wringer and has nothing left. i would like to ask a woman out from church that seemingly has much more than i. i know material things shouldnt matter but unfortunately at this age it does. i always feel like who wants a 40yr old man that has basically nothing besides a good job and 2 wondeerful children. but anyways, i have a friend at church that knows her...should i get him to beat around the bush to see if she may be interested in me (just to try and save something awkward) or should i just say "what the heck" and ask her out?

i like this guy, and i just figuered out recently that he like me. im in middle school and im really shy when it comes to actually telling guys how you feel about them. im not shy if we arent talking about that i could talk to him all day. but the bad thing is he is more shy than me. before he could barely even talk to me but now he is flirty and starts the conversations. he pokes me and throws things at me like paper and ect. well i know he is to shy to ask me out because he doesnt know i like him or i hope not any way. i was wondering how to show him or something to tell him how i feel about him because i think he is amzing. he is cute,sweet,nice hair,shy,did i mention cute.everything i want. i know im young and it may sound stupid but i really need help

iknow a girl who i really like being around and shes just great overall.

but recently, im wondering if she expects more from me 'cause im a guy.
like, i was at her church today and she took off her shoes and couldn't find them.
i just pointed them out and she was like-sarcastically- "thanks, anthony"

this never happened with girls i was friends with.

I'm afraid to go out and date men. It takes me repeated exposure to people to begin to feel comfortable with them. It's a problem for me because I'm not a child anymore. That's why I always fall for guys at work, cuz I see them every day.

When I've gone out with guys I didn't know before the date, they've often grabbed me or kissed me and I didn't even see it coming and I don't like that.

How do I explain to someone I don't even know well, on the first date, that I don't want them to touch me or kiss me yet? Will any guy want to date a girl who isn't willing to fool around on the first date (and, guys, I'm 36, not a child, and this stuff happens.) I feel like I need to say something beforehand because it really freaks me out when they touch or kiss me unexpectedly... How do I handle this with the guy?

I dont mean like spank, I mean hit you like in the arm or something. Cuz once my mom hit me with a wooden clothes hanger on my side, and it actually left a bruise. And this other time, she hit my across my face (I think that's what I remember I could be wrong) and another, it was on my arm. It was cuz she said I got an attitude, but should parents hit you about it, or is that just abuse? And I refuse to tell because we still love eachother and she told me she has a problem with controlling her anger.

My mother in law was so nice to me in the beginning, but over time she has become increasingly critical of me and talks behind my back, and I have seen more of her cranky, controlling side. I am always nice and polite to her. I just think she is nitpicky, and she seems to talk a lot about other women in the family too like her dauhgter and other daughter in law (her sons can do no wrong!). She does a lot of careless things with my babies too so I have to be careful when she visits, and she seems to really resent that I don't hand my babies over to her, and this has made the tension a lot worse.

It seems as though a lot of other married women have these gripes about their mother in laws. Why is this? I grew up with two sisters and no brothers and I don't have a son, so I don't get it. Do mother in laws have the same issues with daughter in laws as we have with them? There just seems to be so much tension on both sides and I don't know why this is an issue for so many people.

My husband tells me Friday afternoon that his brother is coming into town for Easter, then on Sunday he informs me that they are going to a soccer game that night. I had made plans weeks prior to color eggs with our neighbors and he was with me when we made the arrangements, Do I have a right to be upset. He never talks to me.

Sometimes at night I will go out with a few friends to a local bar down the block once my 5 year old son is asleep.

Usually I end up having a little too much to drink and inevitably end up running into something on my way back home (walking of course) and end up having bruises all over the next morning.

Is there a skin conditioner I can use to help heal up the bruises? It's bad enough to deal with the hangovers, but this bruising is just too much.

Also, I just have to say, my son tends to know how to push my buttons. He will always bring up the bruises at the most inappropriate time, like when my Mom is visiting. It's like that little jerk has a window to my soul.

I was driving on the interstate yesterday and ended up getting involved in a 7 car pile up. All because my ***** son was trying to get my attention. None of us had too much damage. We were going slower because of all of the ice on the road.

I swear to god that kid knows how to push my buttons. I would actually be doing something with my life if it wasn't for the kid thing.

Accept a girl that doesn't have the most beautiful body in the world?? I know that guys are different, but I really would like to know if there are some guys out there who would accept a girl that has cellulite, scars on the breasts (due to a breast reduction surgery) and some skin problem called "hyperpigmentation".....My skin is so freakin sensitive....

I've been in this relationship for 9 yrs. Tony has left me for other women three times, has had several women call our home, and he physically abused me a couple of times. The third time he left me, I started dating and began to build up my self esteem. We were separated for about 4 months when he and his new woman parted. I had no plans on excepting him back into my life. One night while I was at work, he broke into my house. When I came home, the abuse began again. I did not call the police because I did not want him to go to jail. I just wanted him to stop hitting me! Needless to say, I gave in. Now its starting all over again. He's calling her 3 or 4 times each month. I called my ex because his mom died and Tony was livid. I feel like I am always competing with her for his love. I know that leaving would be best but I feel the need to be his caretaker. Why do I feel this way and how can I just let go when he keeps coming back?

I'm a 27 female and on Medical Disability right now for depression/mental illness. I'm working very hard to try to build a life for myself and I really want to have relationships with people (friendships and/or dating), but am finding it difficult to meet people who are my age. I started going to church about a month and a half ago and also have started volunteering, but of course, people my age are working so the people I volunteer with mainly are retired. I've also searched through newspapers looking for things in my area that I could do like clubs or community classes, but it seems that everything out there is either for senior citizens, kids/teens or mothers (like Moms Clubs). I'm going to join my church's Young Adult's Sunday School class, but is there anything else out there that I could do?

I have this problem. I am shy and I am very picky about who I want to choose to go out with. I fully don't understand this whole "going out" thing anyway. I went out with this person three years ago and never thought about dating ever again. Now, three years later, I feel guilty about being single. I keep thinking long term instead of short term but it's hard for me to find that special individual. I can't find hardly anyone that is pure.
