She told me it was tradition to be with the kids the night before Easter. This kids did not express interest in going last night. We are different religions but I gave them Easter morning presents when they woke up becuase it was the right thing to do. They were so happy and then went to their mom's in a good mood. One of the reasons I got divorced was that she was very controlling. I see the kids every other weekend so why would I not want them on a Saturday night that is not a holiday. These are typical incidences since our divorce one year ago. My ex tries to cause a problem by making a big deal about last night even though the kids were happy. How can I have her understand that she is not being helpful without causing her to escalate her controlling behavior?

i'm 18 and my parents are getting divorced b/c my dad's been cheating for few years apparently and w/ a bunch of different women. he's not sorry for cheating and justifies it by saying that he wasn't happy w/ my mom but stayed together for the kids. i'm livid with him and can't forgive him, and I told him i would've preferred that they get divorced before he began cheating. He said "that's a very young point of view" and he said that i have too strict of an idea of how people should behave. he also said that as i grow up i'll realize that his cheating wasn't as big of a deal as i think it is. Basically everything he says is a criticism of me and he's only making me feel worse. I just want to make sure that it's reasonable for me to be this upset. I don't understand why he keeps trying to hurt me and my mom and defend himself, rather than apologizing and showing some sympathy and remorse.

I am almost 15 and have never had a boyfriend before or been kissed. I don't really feel ready to start dating yet because I am kinda shy. I am really into boys though. I do have a few crushes at school and on some famous guys too. But, it seems like I don't feel comfortable talking about boys to my parents. It seems like I am so different from my brother. Whenever my brother sees a girl on tv he always says "Wow, she is hot." But, whenever I see a hot guy on tv, I keep it to myself. The only people I talk about guys to are my friends. So, my parents think that I am not interested in guys, which I am. I just don't want my parents to think that I am a lesbian or something when I am NOT! My brother is only 10 and he will share his feelings about girls aloud but I don't feel comfortable sharing my feelings about guys out loud to my parents. Is there something wrong with me? Sorry this is so long.

Okay so here's the situation. My bf and I dated for a little over a year. He was living with me. Well things weren't working out so I asked him to move out. We started dating again after a couple weeks. It's nice but I don't know if this is what I really want.
I love him, but at the same time I find myself wondering if there is something better out there. I am not a hot size 5 and I have 3 kids. It's very hard to find a good man who excepts my kids and me just like we are. Is that enough to keep this relationship going? How do I know if I should wait and hope better comes around? I do love him, but there are certain things that we don't have incommon that are big things in a relaitonship. Like goals, and he spends all his time on his computer instead of spending time with me- am I reading too much into this? Please help~

currently i live with my father and after 2 years i am close to killing him. we butt heads over every thing. now with in the past week i finalyy got a job but it only goes for 6 months.

would it be a good idea to move out even for just 4 months?

I have been dating with a wonderful divorced man. He just told me that he is very confused and he is considering to break with me since he is very afraid to getting married and later on we might finish in divorce, he has explained to me that a divorce is the worst situation a person could face. I think that we love each other. I love him with all my heart, as I have never loved someone before. I am 100% he is the man in my life. Is it normal that he feels this way? She uses her cellphone, our computer, and whatever other means she can find to cheat on me every chance she gets, Myspace, email, singles sites, chat lines, everything. I fell out of love with her pretty recently, but I still have to be with her for my daughter's safety. I have caught her afterhand, but never in the act. Well, my ex, before we broke up, did a couple of things that made me begin to doubt him. For example, he would get calls everyday at the same time from someone. He would limit the time that we would spend together, either because he said it was because of school or work. He would come up with the excuse that he was sleepy and wanted to go to sleep at night and not want to talk to me. Also, our intimate life was going downhill. Could it be that he was cheating on me? i am dating a have black and haf white guy my mom says its wrong that if god meant for all of us to be the same he would have made us the same color too.i dont see anything wrong with it. i mean he has nice parents.he is sweet and doesnt act like sumthing hes not and he loves he for who i am not for how i look and he told me that to.i dont know why she thinks its so wrong.whose knows what race everyone is. i dont care what color he is pink,black,brown,orange. but if you really think about it black ppl arent really black they are just dark and us white ppl arent really white we are light skinned. can any help me explain to her she isnt the way she thinks he is cuz she doesnt even know him and i just dont know what to do cuz we have been dating for 4 months now and i dont want to let him go.do you think its wrong?

2) And why is it that people think that going to a councilor will help with whats going on??
