As someone who has been there, I understand how your feeling. This is one of the worst things someone can do in a marriage in to look up or act like they still care about an ex. I tried to get him to stop putting profiles on and searching to no avail. Now, he is my ex. I could not tolerate to be done that way.

Maybe I'm just too trusting, but I don't see what the big deal is. Let him look. More than likely, she's gotten fat and ugly. Or, has a boyfriend. Or, thinks he got fat and ugly. If you trust him, then it's not a big deal. If you don't trust him, then you've got bigger problems than finding old gf's online.

I found an old hs boyfriend on myspace. No biggie. My current bf, my old bf, and I all went out for drinks that night to catch up on old times. It was a blast.

He can either do it, tell you about it and be open. Or do it at work and feel ashamed and hide it from you. That's when you're in trouble.

If I caught my husband searching for his x honestly speaking it would not be pretty. But one thing for sure I would comfort the situation with maturity and respect. After airing out the dirty laundry and there's no sound of clean up time then I would truly help him search for her else where!!!!

With my reaction he would wish he could rewind time and not do that thing again. I would tell him if he wants to go see his ex then do not let the door hit him in the azz and never step a foot on this doorstep ever again. That is very disrespectful and hurtful.

Ask him why he is doing it? If she owed him a lot of money or if they had a kid together, then there's a reason for it.
If it's to speak to her again, I'd assess the relationship.

Well, since that did happen to me, I can say that I ripped him a new one. Not that it did any good. They still had an affair, we divorced and they got married 5 months later.

I'd let him know I'm not about to put up with this and he has one second to decide just how important his marriage is.

Ask him what his intentions are. Make it clear on what will happen should he choose the wrong answer.
