heres the story,,, im fifteen, i turned fifteen on december 16th my boyfriend is 18 he turned 18 on april 1st we have been together for about 7 months we DONT want to have sex and we never have but is being with him illegal since he is now 18? or can i still be with him?

You can still be with him. As long as you dont have sex. My dad was 27 when he met my mom at 17. They had to be careful for a few years but now they been married 25 years.

No. And if you are having sex, he may be able to be charged with statutory rape. Why would you want to get married at 15 and 18? What kind of life are you going to have? You don't have a diploma, he doesn't have a college degree... It will be years before you will be able to adequately support yourselves. And what about when you have kids? Also, if you were able to get married without their permission, you would have to forget living with them if things got tough (which it would). Just the fact that you are asking this question shows that you are not mature enough for marriage. Wait until you are 18 and see if you still feel the same.

First, he's a guy, OF COURSE he wants to have sex! Second, yes, it is illegal... however, if your parents are okay with it, then it should be fine since they would be the ones to actually press any charges.

Its not illegal to be together. It only becomes an offense when you start ahving sex.

Hmmm...he's being very patient. But if you really don't want to have sex, tell him and he should respect your deciscion...but then again do "stuff" with him so he doesn't feel like the relationship is goin nowere.
