I am a 21-year-old university student. I talk with a lot of guys and have a lot of male friends, though none of them could be considered close friends. They always seem to go out of their way to talk to me but never ask me out. I'm fairly attractive (my parents' clients have told them that I was "very beautiful"), have a nice figure and wear flattering (and, I admit, occasionally revealing) clothes and always try and look my best. Guys compliment my outfits, jewelry and hair too, which I find odd. I'm pretty confident and a bit of a flirt, I will admit. Guys laugh at my jokes and tell me that I'm smart. It makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong when other girls get dates and find boyfriends and I don't and I've actually never had a boyfriend or a date. It's not like I'm sitting around weeping, waiting for some Prince Charming to show up or anything but I'd kind of like to know. I don't have any close friends, which doesn't bother me very much, could this be an impediment?

Theres this boy who has been hating me since the 6th grade (we are both in 10th grade now) And is really good friends with some of my friends and so today one of my friends is having a B-day party and he is going to be there....... The problem is that he is mean, and its very uncomfortable being around someone who you don't like and that person doesn't like you back. Usually when he is around my friends I feel left out because he is always talking to them and is usually the center of attention and I am just quite and feel alone. So what am I suppose to do at the party? He is probably going to be the center of attention(as always) and he loves it when I feel left out! (I can tell he does)

Before I met my wife I dated a girl for around 3 ½ years (lived with her for 1 ½, it was a college relationship). We split somewhat amicably, and I focused on work, friends and hobbies for a few months.

After around 6 months I met my wife, dated her for a year, and we’ve been married another 2 years since. We have a pretty great relationship (although she is the jealous type) and we are financially stable. We also have a 3mo old son.

When I first met her I wasn’t completely honest about how long I had dated the last girl, and I didn’t tell her how long I had lived with her. At the time I thought it was the right thing to do, as she had never dated anyone long term before and is from a conservative family so I thought she’d prejudge me.

I was also pretty insensitive and left a few belongings of my x around the house (such as a piece of furniture, and a few pictures), and from time to time would bring up stories from that era related to trips I took or experiences I had.

My ex wife (mother of 2 kids) asked me to loan her some money. Her husband got laid off and she said they were going to have trouble making ends meet this month. On one hand, we're divorced and I don't see why i should bail her out. But on the other, she is the mother of my kids and if she can't pay the bills, my kids suffer. Should i loan her the money?

It was love at first sight but it was still a rocky start. We met at work and started dating but it wasn't long before she suspected me of cheating. I didn't even know she thought that until later on. All I knew is that she was ignoring me and started sleeping around. It was months later I learned she thought I cheated on her so I talked to her about it and cleared it all up. I didn't like that she started acting slutty but I overlooked that because I wanted to be with her. Things got much better and we've been engaged for a while now.

The red flag is that she is suspecting me of cheating again. There are some flirtatious girls at work and she's jumping to the conclusion that I'm cheating...but I'm not cheating. Is she looking for excuses to be promiscuous? I can't go through all of that again.

Should I cancel the wedding?

OR

Is there a way to test her?
Should I lead her to believe I am cheating and see what she does?

It seems like men are the ones that want babies and want marriage more than us women.

Is that true?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 4 years, in that period we have broken up about 5 times. He has broken up with me each and every one of those times claiming to need his freedom, which I always gave him. However this last time I broke up with him because I was having some family issues and just couldnt handle a boyfriend, that was about 5 months ago. Now its been all that time and hes called me a million times during this period and I just haven't taken his calls. Now though we are talking and he says he promises things are different now, hes differnt and I just need to let him prove it to me. And he has been really good for a few weeks but his friends just went to visit him, in his new hometown (we live in different states now) and hes reverted back to his old behavior...never calling me wen he says he will, ignoring my calls because hes out and its just killing my trust in him. Is it time for me to let go, even though I do love him or does he mean it this time? HELP

Ok, there's this guy at my church who I think might like me. He always makes a point to say "hello" to me and have a conversation of some kind. Me? I might like him, too. How do I talk to him without getting too nervous? I also have a problem with this kind of thing, because I end up flirting by accident. HELP ME!!! Thank you!

Both of us have made the drive (7 hours) several times before. He will be staying (sleeping) with his grandparents and I will be staying with mine, about an hour away from eachother. We want to take a day trip to Cedar Point. He's 18, I'm 17. All we want is some company on the drive and a day together, plus, we both get to meet the others grandparents/family. His parents are fine with it, my mom says no because she doesn't want my grandparents to have to worry about things like what time I get back in, a.k.a have to be my temp. parents. I am allowed, however, to go visit my grandparents without him. But not with. What?!

This girl, who my ex-gf told me that she said I was really attractive, always looks at me when we pass her by most of the time, or we're eating lunch at different tables. I'm just curious what the hell is in a girls mind when this is going on? Also, why sometimes, you dont look? Any girls give me any insight?

After way too many years of disrespectful and rude behavior by my brother in law, I finally confronted him two Christmases ago. Ever since he has tried to humiliate me in front of family members. I tried to speak with him about the fact that I have started reacting to his rude, disrespectful behavior (shutting me up at the table, etc.; mocking me, humiliating me). I said to him that we should talk about our anger at each other and that feeling angry is one thing, but acting on it is another. I stated that I don't act out to him but that I have been and will call him on his rudeness when it occurs. He is a very intellectually bright engineer, but is behaving very immaturely. I asked him if we could treat each other the way we want to be treated. He misinterprets everything I say and assumes I am insulting him when I'm not. Then he humiliates me by mocking me, humiliating me and laughing. No one ever laughs but him because it's not funny--it's emotionally abusive. Thanks.

My distant cousin is getting married, I don't even know her. I was not invited, but my mom was. Mom wants to bring me as her guest. I said absolutely not. Because I am a relative, I should not go unless I was invited. I feel this would be embarassing for the bride & groom. They would feel funny for having not invited me in the first place. I'm not at all mad that I wasn't invited, but my mom thinks I'm wrong for not going as her guest. Do you think I should go as a guest?

Ok, so heres the deal: I was married at 18 years old (big mistake). Now I'm 23, divorced, and I have daughter that will be 4 in a couple months. So now I find myself trying to jump back into this dating game with no clue of how the game is played because I was barely a part of the game in the first place. In addition to that, how do you involve a child in the whole dating/relationship process without scaring away the guy or trampling the child feelings?? And on top of all that, I find myself terrified of even the thought of having a serious relationship again, but at the same time the loneliness of the single parent life is driving me crazzy!!!!!

Advice please?????
