It seems like men are the ones that want babies and want marriage more than us women.
Is that true?

Inside a man he wants a life partner who he knows he can trust. Ladies in this world are VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY.
Having children make a man feel as if he strengthens the bond of love between him and his woman. If the man is a total jerk than he probably just wants to make the babies instead of nurturing it like a REAL man would do for his offspring.

More men are getting around to being fathers now and that is why it seems that way. I know a lot of friends that like the family scene and are good fathers to their children. Back in the late 80's and all the way to the middle 90's it seemed like the other way around. More people were into the club scene and just dating, no strings attached but now more people are wanting to have families and trying to make a life together.
P.S. I am only 36 so no old geezer jokes please...LOL...

I think more men are being "Mr. Mom" these days. It's good for kids to see that men can be the child care provider. I know more men right now that want to settle down and have kids than I do women. But I think it's the age group.

It depends if the guy has a good family, and good upbringing. I don't think there is anything wrong with a guy wanting that, just shows that he is mature, and actually wants a family and a good future

I just felt like it would be very nice to have a daughter, to teach and love

it's instinctive..
sometimes, we forget that we are just animals, like every other animal.
we have a built in desire to replicate ourselves, but modern society attempts to prevent us from having more than one partner, so the desire to replicate genes is directed towards one partner, instead of several (which is what nature intended).
every male has a desire to replicate his gene set. some males refuse to acknowledge this desire, usually because they are too immature to deal with the outcome, or they are gay.

I think its both men and women who want children equally, and for whatever reason they want them for.
