To tell you the truth I don't think alot of people know what commitment is....I don't think couples really listen to there marriage vows like.....for better or worse to honor a cherish.
A large majority go into a marriage thinking everyday is going to be a bed of roses and when things get tough instead of talking and communicating they get divorced because divorce is easy there's no real work involved.
They just don't understand...Till Death do us part......

Committment is a choice to be together each day. That choice is made each day. At some point, the choice may be to move on and experience a relationship with another. At that point, if there was love between the two, they lovingly part, thank one another for the wonderful experience they shared, and gently say good-bye.

No relationship lasts forever, so the committment or promise of forever should not be made. Instead, make a committment to making each day while they are together loving and faithful.

it really depends....it's good practice for marriage to be commited in a relationship because if you're not, then get married, and all of a sudden have to be commited......that could be a challenge. But my personal opinion is you don't HAVE to be completely commited until marriage , especially if the relationship isn't serious. hope i helped!

No cheating, no kissing other women in the mouth. Being honest with your money, stay in contact with each other during the day and if plans change let the other know whats up. And when something is on your mind and you need to let the other know, tell it because you know it's going to benefit the relationship/marriage. And not keeping scar-ts , and that don't mean you tell it all in one day, somethings do take time, but tell it in time.

If the relationship is strong the marriage lasts.
If the relationship ends so does the marriage.

Marriage is just a stamp in a ledger.
Marriage does not protect the relationship.
The relationship protects the marriage.

When I married my husband two years ago we promised to always take care of eachother. No matter what that meant. Come what may. I adore my husband, and can't imagine my life without him in it. I would not do anything without thinking what impact it might have on him and our lives together.

Loyalty, truthfulness, openness, and a great friendship. There is so much more, but I just can't think of them right now.

I have trouble being open, do to bad experiences before, and I started bottling everything up inside, but my fiance really wants to help me with it so I am working with him to change my bad habit.

for me, commitment is love. without it, your relationship is hopeless. being committed means you will be with each other for good times and bad. you are each others strength when the other one is crumbling. you will be respectful, and be loyal to each other.
