One of my friends is having big problem. He has a long story, but I'd rather say in brief. He quietly liked a girl for 4 years, never said aything. Miraculously somehow the girl also fell in love with him. As soon as the relationship (only over phone) started, he realized that he doesn't deserve the girl. He couldn't afford such a richer girl than him. He started suffering from inferiority, and later self-contempt. He often told me he couldn't buy things if she wanted him to buy for presents. He denied the girl, saying "I am not for you". the girl couldn't accept it, she cried and everything. But they never had any physical relationship, nor even a kiss. The girl tried to contact him a lot, for a long time, he just turned down by saying he is not worthy of her.

Now he feels lonely, frustrated, lost interest over any other girls. From a good student to a hopeless student.

True Story.

Any help would be appreciated, I want to advice him and help him before he loses the track of life

I have been with him for a year. we just had a little girl about 3 months ago. i love and help him with everything. i try to do everything for him. but he always wants to be right. there is no winning with him. he's never hit me. but he's come at me, while i was sitting on the couch, to choke me, and he did it once when i had the baby in my arms. i know he needs help. is there a website about anger management? or something? what should i do? how can i help him or suggest counsling, with out him getting angry.

Our relationship wasnt bad persay but the past 6 months neither of us were getting what we really want.. it wouldve been 2 years on thursday.. I've been going out with him for 2 years when we decided to break up. He said that his work, college stuff, family were taking a toll on him and he just wants to back off. I was also getting pissed because he was distant and not telling me what was wrong. So anyways, we both agreed to break up before our relationship gets too nasty. And we remained to be really good friends. But after 3 or 4 months, things started to go back to how we were. We would go out during weekends and just automatically hold hands. We would kiss when a moment comes. He would pay for my dinner and movies. We would have sex. He calls everynight before he goes to sleep to ask about my day and tells me about his. Both of us didn't date anyone else. We takes care of each other when one of us is sick...etc. All the stuff sounds like what a couple would do to me. But we never really said that we are back together again, and this has been bothering me because i don't know exactly what we are to each other.

Hello. I have yet another question about family issues. Well today, my grandpa (father's father) unfortunately died, and my dad was so close to him. When I heard the news, I cried a little, and then tried not to think about it. As I started to feel better, I saw my father, and seemed to be unstable and clumsy. I soon realized he was intoxicated, and severely. He had car keys in his hands, and was about to go drive in these conditions. I was trying to stop him, and my uncle had to literally sit on him to keep him down. My mother called the police, and they had to stop him from doing anything crazy, like driving. The police told him to work it out in the morning, when he was no longer intoxicated.

It was such a crazy night, and it has gotten me all worked up and worried. I feel very lonely about this, and I need some answers and suggestions on what to do. I think I should just relax and try not to think about it, but I'd like some second opinions. Thanks a lot guys.

I hate almost everyone. Currently I have no friends and could care less. When I make friends I could care less. I have had this problem since I was 13. (i'm 23 now). People are boring. i have a homecoming date who is quiet, not shy, just quiet. we've been talkin but its not to the point where we can sustain a long conversation. any conversation tips? and what do u think my limitations of homecoming bonding would be okay? My twin brother and I are really close (always have been). He really likes to look out for me and is really supportive. We talk on the phone every day and this has been problematic for my past boyfriends. I think they've been jealous. I'll admit that my brother is really good-looking and he is a talented musician. Its been more than 1 year now, that me and he are together. In the beginning he started this relation by saying he wants to be a very good friend of mine , i said ok, and we started then. But after 1 & half month, i came to realize that its something more than friendship. I discussed this thing with him , then he agreed too at that time.
