I have been obsessed about this girl for 5 months and I have had no contact or nothing at all.. N its all I can think about all day and when I wake up I sit in bed for hours thinking of things we could do together.. I am also 14 and now on anti-depressents.

So I work with this man - we get along very well. We have a huge amount of respect for each other and many similar interests. We have both been with our employer for 15 + years and the last 2 we have worked very close together. Except, I approve his pay and am his supervisor. We have discussed the fact that we get along well but should not go even for a drink together due to the rumor mill and how it would appear.
He consumes my thoughts, I have had a few dates but I can't stop thinking I should be with him.

JUST re-enforce that I should NOT go there and maybe get a life!!

Ok, so here's the deal, I have been with this guy for about a month; I've known him for 3. He told me he did not smoke, and that he drank, but occasionally. Last week he told me he had lied, and that he loved getting wasted, and smoked occasionally. He knows I hate smoking, and that I can't tolerate lies. I am gratified he told me the truth, but angry because he thought he had to lie to me for me to like him. I mean, common, why would I drop him cuz he smokes if I already like him??? Anyways, I want to know if he is (1) Telling me the truth because he cares about me and really likes me, (2) Lying to get me to leave him (3) Trying to get me to trust him well enough that I have sex with him, (4) or I am just thinking too much about it, and he's just trying to make sure things work out between us. . .

I just ended a relationship that was very important to me, because this person wasn't happy with me and wasn't happy having any contact with me, and I just wanted this person to be happy again. I love this person with all of my heart. (Not romantically. He was like a brother to me.) I can't get over him. I want him to be in my life so bad. I dated a guy for over 2 months and suddenly we just stopped talking... I had finally gotten him out of my mind and out of no where I can't stop thinking of him :( I don't know if I should contact him or just let it go...

This is getting annoying, I can't tell anyone about him, and he's really ticking me off right now. What should I do? (And don't worry, there's no pressure on you, I'll take whatever you say into consideration, I'm not asking you to make up my mind NO PRESSURE!!)

Pros:
-We really like(ed) each other
-We are really good friends
-We have a lot in common
-We never run out of things to talk about
-He knows like everything about me
-I know like everything about him
-He goes out of his way to do things for me
-He has baked me cookies twice
-He's okay looking (not that that really matters)
-He's funny/nice

We are currently separated, and I know this may sound lame, but I am trying to make sense of things and I really am concerned that he may be struggling with the thought of being gay. His father was gay but didnt come out until later. He died a few years ago of aids.( He was a truck driver. My husband is a truck driver and is determined to follow in his dads footsteps in that aspect.) I have always thought my husband was a bit too overly negative about gay'ism'. The reason we are separated is because my husband has simply no interest or love for me. He says, 'I can't give you what you want. I just don't love you. I never really did.' I go to a college 200 miles from home, and I go home every other weekend. While I'm not there, my boyfriend goes out and drinks with his friends. And the weird thing is I get jealous and mad. It's not that I don't want him to have fun, and i know he only does this because I won't be able to hang out with him anyways. But i just get this weird jealousy feeling when he tells me he got drunk again. I would wish i could be with him, so he won't do anything like that. Another thing that bothers me is that whenever I go back home, and hang out at his apartment, we would just rent a movie, and order pizza. Basically just staying home all weekend, and we go to sleep really really early. And he never does that with his friends. Whenever they are hanging out, it's always club, strip club, concert, etc. Why it's like this? I'm just real confused.

I'm a very simply naive person. When my girl left me and I finally got a few answers out of her, some were reasonable, others just didn't ring true. Like leaving me for a previous person they "loved". That I can deal with. But then saying before they we were uncompatible, just seemed like something made up to soften the blow. Unless I'm a complete twit, I never felt we were uncompatible. But when you're being sized up and compared with the "ex", you're never really going to be compatible as she will never see me for me. It'll always be her looking at me thinking of hte other guy. Anyway, do girls say things like, not being compatible, it's just never going to work, I made a mistake etc. and actually mean it? I want to be with my ex so bad, but there's nothing I can do now. No contact, nothing. So I can only sit and wait and hope she might contact me at some point. But what if she really did mean what she said? I've seen first hand her saying things that were false.
