I've found addresses of people going to http://www.zabasearch.com, entering in the person's name and selecting a state I last remember the person being located in.

I tried for 2 hours to find a current address for free and came up empty handed, BUT I did find a site that offered some good reviews/advise for free "people info" searches. If the person you're looking for moved before the last publication of the phone book, you can find them for free and save the $40 most sites charge for up to the minute info. there are somev sites you can get addresses and numbers for free and you can locate anyone as long as they got any mail. i use the sites all the time.

yahoo used to offer free white pages but I don't know if thats still true. maybe another search engine?
