stay away only normal work contact and make sure other people are around --- its too dangerous from an ethical work and harrassment point of view --- no matter how much you like him

I am definitely not going to tell you to get a life, because I've been thinking about this stuff lately...what happens when you meet someone you think you belong with, but you've always been driven by your career? I just spent the last eight years of my life working my butt off, and now I'm thirty and alone. I say, where there's a will there's a way, and if you two care enough about each other to pursue a relationship, then you'll make it work, even if it means one of you has to switch departments or leave the company. Of course, you both have to be sure about each other first. Just remember...what will make you happier in the long run, your job or love? I know what I'd pick if I could right now.

Hmmm . . . who cares about the rumors? As long as you two will remain civil if you break up, I see nothing wrong with it. It is odd for you to be his supervisor (as opposed to the other way around), but it's all OK. And you CAN go out without anyone finding out about it, at least for a long while. You just have to choose the right places to go. Good luck!

If I used to be the boss, and also you had published terrible rants approximately me on a public message board, I could be ticked off. I could now not fireplace you for that, however I would not be hanging matters within the excellent feasible mild for you at assessment/elevate time, both. Have the experience to not put up that stuff publicly.

He is your fantasy man becasue you can't have him . It could be if you actually dated, he wouldn't be the one for you. Be sure and remember that office romances can ruin a persons career . You have both put in a lot of years. If it is suppose to be one of you could change jobs. Othewise......no hankey or panky with anyone on the job.

As long as you influence his pay, arm's length is the rule. But if you think the relationship is bound to go further, take steps to remove the influence, such as a transfer.

I would agree with Ed... the only acceptable way to pursue this man romantically, is to remove yourself from your position. There are way more possibilities for this to go wrong, than right.

i don't see if you both have feelings for one another why not just go for it. it you both agree to keep it to your selfs who's going to know and if someone run's in to the two of you just say your friends. I have done it in the past and it dose work only if the two of you keep it to your self. it all depends on how the two of you feel.
