The static has gotten increasingly worse and louder. is it my sound card or is there another way to get rid of it other than hit mute? It makes the sounds whether they are plugged into the front or back.

I researched this AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Dual Core Processor and found out the clock speed was 2.6GHz but im not sure if it runs at 2.6 or 5.2 becasue it is dual core.

I bought a dvd burner a year ago and up until about 2 months ago it was burning just fine. It will read all types of disks but will not burn dvds or cds now. Any suggestions? Oh, and my device manager says that the device is working fine.

The only thing on the drive is windows and Macafee and the basics it may be spy ware or something else and I don't want to spend all the extra money on another PC so should I just replace the drive.
