Has anyone had problems with getting your rebates from OnRebate.com,which I found out is connected to TigerDirect.I will no longer buy from them and they won"t let me unsubsdribe from their e mails.

Today,as always, I went to internet hall of Uni then I push my USB memory stick in one of computers there and it was OK and after doing what I wanted I used the safty remove procedure and I pulled it out but after just a few minutes I pushed it into another computer but suddenly the computer restarted and as it happend to me earlier I let it be there but after it came to windows xp front page I could't see my device in explorer and I pulled it out but it was very hot and it is not recognized by any pc any more,It is genx smartx 2Gb,how can I check if it is dead or not?

I found out through a utility program that said one of my USB ports is faster than all the rest. All were called USB Universal Host Controllers, but one was called a USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller. How do I find out where it is on my PC case?

How can I get the highest quality lightscribe print on my DVDs? I tried double printing at best setting and I also downloaded the latest lightscride software (2 programs). What else can I do to make DVD maybe have some color or better contrast. Has anyone tried the silkscreen quality DVD? Are they any better?

I can"t use my shift key< my period and comma work like the shift key is being held down< when i click on a link a new window opens> same with my numbers< they act like they are being used when shift is held down> i"m using a logitech internet navigator keyboard> when i use the roller ball located on the mouse< it takes me back a page> it"s not sticky keys< i"ve tried that> help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
I have been given a ABIT AN7 motherboard. The problem is that the mb will not boot up. The LED display shows the tests upto BIOS but will not go to BIOS. Nothing is displayed on screen at all, no signal to the monitor. I suspect the problem was that the previous owner has put a 3.3v video card which may have damaged the mb. Have tried a 1.5v video card, but no luck. Also the BIOS battery was completly flat. I have replaced that but the board is still the same.

Can anyone help or should I just BIN it.???

i knwo there is soem how with out buying a new board but is there a way to up grae the cpu in my machiene with out cnaging any jumper sttings or will i have to change the settings the board is on a celleron with 3.08 ghz on the clock but i what to put a dual core in this thing is there a prosessor i can put in it bc i dont think the voltages and and core voltages can be changed i have a 250 watt poer suply and 768 megs of ram but i whant to up grade the processor with out changing the board can any one help me ? the buss is 533mhx and the L2 catch is 256 k

buying a new desktop soon. receiving mix opinions. some people suggest me dual core 2.8, some say core 2 duo is far better then dual core, few says there are no major difference between dual core and core 2 duo.
i know one major difference is their FSB. my question is which one is really better for multitasking work, how important FSB is ?
finally is is there major difference between 2.8 dual core and 3.0 dual core ?
