Knowing I'd no matter what need an encoder, (I have Power DVD XP)
Is it in any way possible to use Media player to play any form of DVD in a regular CD ROM?
I know the answer but I really want to play this movie so if anyone has figured it out yet, please let me know.

when i click on a music file, a pop up comes up reading:

Cannot play back the audio stream: no audio
hardware is available, or the hardwarte is not responding.

What does this mean? i have a laptop so i have inbuilt speakers, so is there a program i need to install, or an option i need to do in order for my sound to work? (PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT I NEED TO DO) thanks

my pc doesnt have pci-express16, but it is marked at the mainboard, http://i12.tinypic.com/4csbz0z.jpg , can i find a conector, slot, (i dont know) to "weld" it?? please help....

Hey everyone - I am going to be settingup 5-10 VMs (Various dekstop and server OSs.. only 2-3 VMs will be running at any given time) via the Vmware Server Console from Windows XP Pro. I am trying to decided on which disk\storage option would be best performing and ideal for storing my VMDK files.

The Dell desktop that will be running the console is a 3.4ghz P4 with 3GB of RAM (DDR2 400mhz). The board only has two SATA-150 ports (which I am already using for the XP install and music\photos) and has no PCI-Express slots.

Option 1:

Buy a SATAII PCI (Promise has one now) card and one 500GB SATAII HDD

Option 2:

Buy an external USB 2.0 500GB drive

Option 3:

Go cheap with SATA-150 or ATA\133 (Is there that much of a difference with VM performance)?

Any other suggesstions?

I press the power button and nothing happens. No LED light no nothing!

I have tried everything imaginable. Ranging from...
Checking wall socket.
Changing plug fuse.
changing entire cable.
Installing new PSU.
Unplugging all power consuming devices then trying to power on.
Checked all the capacitors (All fine)
Manually powering the computer: Incase there was a problem with the button (Didn't work).

I'm outta ideas. I wonder if even Danuitti will be able to solve this one !?!?!

I have 80GB primary hard drive. and recently I purchased a 300gb hard drive. The 300 gb hard drive acts as secondary and 80 Gb acts as primary. I recorded number of videos and music on 300 gb hard drive. I want to make 300 gb to act as primary hard drive and 80gb as secondary. Will merely changing the jumper and cable will do the need or I have to go beyond that. How willl the the program files and window files go to sendory disk Because recently I tried to upload Microsoft Flight simulator X and it didn't upload as it needs minimum 15gb of space on PRIMARy hard drive, which I didn't have. So I transfered number of files to Secondary hard drive (i.e. 300gb)and uploaded the game. But in order to avoid future problems I want to make 300gb as primary hard drive and 80gb one as secondary hard drive. How can I do it. A step by step instruction shall be highly appreciated And any link to related website shall also be highly appreciated.. my computer knowledge is at Preliminary level.
